Called in for a coffee, partner had her usual americano, which met her aproval, I went daft and had a double shot flat white, which I have to say although obviously very strong, was much better than a lot of places that seem to forget what a flat white should be. I also had what has to be the best bacon bagel I've had in a long time, even the partner was surprised how quick I ate it. Loved it. Update. Went here again 5 days later and again the bacon bagel was so good. This time had a single shot flat white and again this place knows how to do a flat white, to many places now give you whats more or less a latte in a small cup. Definately recomend.

The Symposium cafe in Ellon is a little gem in the town. They offer a wide selection of hot and cold drinks. They have got savoury and sweet treats. The place was heaving as the farm market was taking place just next to it in the square. We ordered a pancake with bacon and syrup. In my opinion the pancake was too thick. Service was faultless

Very popular spot in town. Next to the market square in Ellon. Has a variety of breakfast options as well as several warm drinks. Few tables available during morning, so you have to come in early to find a table.

Lovely little cafe, clean and tidy, pleasant staff and great coffee! Nice selection of tasty bites, though they ran out of vegan a bit early in the day. Remember, ANYONE can eat Vegan!! Recommended 😀

Lovely coffee & our filled bagels were delicious, particularly enjoyed were the wholegrain ones. My sister's maple pancake was a little overdone for her liking.

Coffee was okay but not very strong. Bagels and pancakes were very good but the dressed salad was neither dressed nor a salad - just a small serve of mixed lettuce with no dressing.

This is my first time visiting the new location since they moved the shop from around the corner. the space has opened up a bit more and i do like the more natural lighting. Like before the staff are very friendly, Coffee and Pancakes are on point. still really enjoying them.

Lovely, cosy place. Could do with a little more choice for vegans. Saying that, they had vegan cheese and tomato toasties, with a little salad on the side and they also had plant based milk. So that was great. However, the lentil soup had milk and dairy in it. In this day and age that is a very strange occurance and really not necessary. So many soups could be easily mm made vegan and hence everyone could enjoy the soup. I am sure they could get lentil soup without dairy and milk.
