This was a special occasion for us on our 21st anniversary. The staff could not do enough and Craig was the perfect host. We experienced the tasting menu with wine pairing. This should be experienced at least once in your life. The highlight was the perfect way that the beef was cooked, melt in the mouth. Although it was difficult to pick out one highlight as it was all amazing. By the time we got to the cheese we were very full so the staff suggested boxing it up for us including the paired port. We spent 4 hours enjoying this experience and from the beginning were assured that there was no rush but to relax and enjoy. Which we most certainly did. 🙂

Just been out to Eat on the Green to celebrate my wife’s birthday. What an amazing meal, the Chef Craig, wife and staff were so welcoming. Craig does so much for FOA, so it was really good catching up with him. Would thoroughly recommend you go for that special occasion. 👍❤️

We had not been out for Valentine's the last 3 years so we decided it would be good to get dressed up and go somewhere nice. There was one obvious choice and luckily we got a table at the time we wanted. The night was fantastic from arrival to leaving. The food,service and surroundings made for a perfect evening all round. The stand out from the starters for both of us was the roast tomato and vodka soup and from the selections of dessert for me the cheesecake was the winner and my Fiancé felt the brownie was her favourite. That said we can't say a bad word about any of the food and we will definitely be back there to eat again very soon.

A bit of an institution in the area, which I had avoided being a vegan and their website not talking of veggie/vegan options. Yet when we did book the chef produced a wonderful, absolutely delicious course list, one of the best vegan meals I've ever had. The style matched my friends meals, as in the same size and feel of each course so I didn't feel too weird. The servers and the kilted chef all popped out to check it was okay and I didn't feel awkward. The food was delicious, but the dessert platter of mango sorbet, lemon tart and chocolate was just something else. I've been dreaming of that lemon tart, I've woken up with the taste of it on my lips in the morning, it was probably one of the tastiest thing's I've ever had. A really nice interior, lovely clean bathrooms, great staff and overall fab experience. Resonably priced for such a restaurant. I expected to sell at least one kidney since I was paying for everyone, but I managed to get away with all of my organs and I'm thinking of booking again! And will definitely have to check out the gin garden out back.

Just had a really good experience at Eat on the Green. Excellent food from an accomplished chef matched with outstanding service from the front of house team. We will definitely be returning when we come back to Scotland in the future.

Great atmosphere, amazing service and I loved the starters and the desserts. The veggie main was good but it did not surprise me. The cocktails are amazing too! Decently would go back.

We were given a voucher for the 7 course tasting menu with matched wines as a thank you gift. We were welcomed with champagne and canapés to start with. This was followed by an exquisite seven course meal with wines to match. Our waiter Craig talked us through each course and the wine selection explaining why the wines went with the food. It was a wonderful evening in a beautiful setting. It was a really unique experience and we loved every minute of it.

First Class. They know Good Food,its not cheap but well worth paying for quality and the presentation is the icing on the cake!!! A lot of time and thought from the kitchen staff,table service very pleasant helpful staff who were dressed imaculate,surroundings and decor tastefully done and the toilets a real pleasure to visit. It is no surprize that this place has many awards.Hard work and dedication. Thankyou again for a most memorable experience.

This place was exceptional, what a great place to celebrate any event! The service was second to non, the food was brilliant and the atmosphere was so very nice and relaxed. The staff really did impress, I couldn't recommend more!
