We’ve been to Rake Hall several times in the last couple of months. The venue is very nice. The food goes a bit out of the usual with pretty interesting options for different tastes. And the staff is helpful and professional. Especial mention today to Lucy, who has gone the extra mile to accommodate the needs of our party.

A beautiful setting for a drink or meal. The food was absolutely beautiful, extremely tasty with generous portion sizes. However I must say I found the prices very expensive for a pub restaurant. The prices were more on par with a fine dining restaurant. I would have loved to have it as a regular place to meet family and friends but the food prices were far to expensive.

Visited Rake Hall when on a weekend stay at the caravan site just down the road. Didn't book and it was a busy Friday, but they found us a table no problem. Food was superb and reasonable price also, large selection of excellent beers too. Went back for drinks the following night, just as impressed. Seems very dog friendly as well 🐕.

Staff were very friendly and helpful (even when we arrived late due to motorway closures). They put a rush on our starters so we could eat with the rest of the party who had arrived early. Food was a good standard and there was plenty of choice (including for those in our party with dairy intolerance). Lovely big place, with garden and pond. Fab ladies toilets too (once you find them upstairs)!

The food and service is very good. However, only 4 stars as they did forget to bring the mustard that I asked for. It's clearly a very popular eatery and whilst it does have a relaxed atmosphere, the food service did feel a little rushed. Our mains (pictured), we're brought out before the starter plates had been cleared. The quality of the food and presentation was excellent with a wide range of nibbles, starters, mains and deserts. Drinks service while eating is very efficient and good bar service if not eating.
