We are currently staying in the village and found the Oyster bar to be such a good local pub. The weather was amazing on our visit and we got to sit on the patio overlooking the most incredible view. We had dinner last night and the food was delicious! Home made steak pie to die for! And scampi so fresh. The ladies in the bar super friendly!

Super staff, super food, super beer, super location. Very friendly welcome from both staff, locals and other visitors to the village. Would recommend to anyone coming this way. Dog friendly too :)
Fabulous Food and very friendly staff. Had the privilege to stay with friends Donna & Steve in there lovely Cottage. The sea food buffet was best I've ever had. Hope to return in the future.
We loved this Restaurant and Pub whilst staying on Seil for a few months. Friendly staff, good food, gorgeous Oysters and beautiful view. What more could you ask for. Missing it lots back in Edinburgh, Jan+Graham Beckett.
Excellent food and beer at really reasonable prices in a special setting overlooking Easdale Island. If you like seafood this is a must. The owner has only been running The Oyster Bar for a short time but he's made a great start.
Excellent food, good priced drinks, great staff especially Rosie and John. Would recommend
We are here for a fortnight and so far have been in just for a drink and one meal food is fantastic and staff and regulars all very friendly and helpful
Wonderful atmosphere in the bar. Good range of choice on the menu. I had the fish and chips and it was spot on. Staff very welcoming to my children. Definitely worth a visit!
Enjoyed our Sunday Roast today and a delicious dessert. Food was excellent and the service great. Thank you for the lovely table at the window...the sun streamed in and it was glorious. We are locals and so lucky to have such a great pub and restaurant near by. Thank you.
Great wee pub with warm friendly atmosphere, not a bad pint too!
Worth a visit if only for the oysters and a glass of wine or two οΏ½
I only popped in for a brew and to grab 5 mins of wi-fi. I felt like I belonged there! Nice, friendly staff and a real fire too. :)
I have been coming here maybe once a year for a decade and just love it. It's changed hands and the food and welcome is better than ever :) just a wonderful setting as well. Today I had fresh langoustines, so fresh they had just arrived in from the boat :)
Wonderful food, created and served by wonderful people, i was a lone traveler and felt extremely comfortable in the surrounds, 10 out of 10 shall return soon for more of the same, thank you
Best mussels I've had in Scotland, delicious taste.

Even brought a pair of handmade earrings in there to, they sold other crafts to.

Wow, what a spot to visit. Ellenabeich well qorth the drive to see thus hidtotic village. Didn,'t eat here but I am sure it eould be excellent. The pub itself had lovely welcoming fire. Music on some evenings.
We unfortunately visited on a cold wet day so unable ro sit outside and takein the glorious views of the Islands. We sat inside and gad a drink and a meal., the pub is quite small and I intimate bit the welcome is like the sevice was great. The food was lovely and everyone enjoyed their meal,my granddaughter had the best portion of nachos I have ever seen all the meals were excellent and would recommend if your in the area to give it a try.

A fantastic little place by the Atlantic. Great value food and drink. Oysters and razor clams were fresh, sauce along with the clams was very rich and complimented them perfectly. One vegetarian in our group notes that their sweet potato curry was also very good, a good selection for vegetarians.
Extensive drinks list too. Scenery around the restaurant was beautiful, staff were friendly and efficient.
We called in for lunch after a boat trip. Vegetarian options are very limited, and the ones we had were pretty poor. The macaroni cheese was bland, greasy, and lacking in cheese sauce. The pasta was vastly overcooked. The vegeburger was a cheap breadcrumbed thing. The only saving grace was the chips, which were hot and crispy.
It strikes me as a case of no competition, no ambition.

Fantastic place with friendly staff and excellent quality food and beers. Plenty of inside and outdoor seating options and every single thing about this place for me is perfect. The views from the terrace are incredible. Highly recommended !
Lovely meal, all food tasty. No complaints. Great service, lovely cider. Good social distancing in place. Family of 8 really enjoyed it.
We turned up starving or a rainy day without a reservation. Two adults, two kids, one dug. The staff squeezed us in at no notice really at all. The lunch was superb and the food was excellent with decent portions. The venue is all about location and has a lovely not overly developed feel to it. The staff though stole the show. They were so friendly and the service was great. They actually looked happy to be there. Our wee dug was accommodated with a fresh bowl of water and a treat which made his day. PS..I never give reviews so this place must have impressed me! Definitely be back.
Book a table. This place has been well thought out in respect of the covid19 government guidelines and spacing. Hand sanitizer available to use.
Everything is sanitized, the toilets are kept clean and all staff have face masks on.
This place is a gem, not only is the food lovely and freshly made but the staff are all brilliant, they are all friendly and helpful.
We were a party of 7 adults with a baby in a pushchair, kindly placed us near the heater on a cool rainy day! A couple of our party had oysters and said how lovely and fresh they were, 4 people had mussels and there was none left over so I'd say they were a hit, there was a small menu choice but varied to suit different tastes for all. Definitely worth going to if your in the area.
Nice area to have a walk after your meal or to just sit and enjoy the moment.
Super friendly staff and locals we spent a pleasant afternoon and evening drinking and eating. Dog friendly
Best described as a pub! Initially assumed it was a high end restaurant. Good pub grub! Fresh coffee. Sandwiches freshly and generous. Good menu. Good service. Check the food serving times first! Efficient service. Outdoor deck area. Limited space in present times. Highly recommended.
Great service and fantastic Cullen skink with bread, unfortunately not langoustine left on this occasion. The Cullen Skink did the trick though π
Particularly loved the Cullen skink. Great range of food on the menu. Quirky interior. Dog friendly. Really efficient staff.
Great coffee, lovely views and a good selection of beers and whiskys. Also an excellent menu with reasonable prices. I can recommend
