We really like it here. Enough to go twice in a week. The menu was quite different to the more generic stuff we see at home. Less greasy and much more tasty. Friendly staff, excellent menu choice for veggies. Don't be put of by the dark exterior making it look like they're closed... They probably aren't and much brighter one inside (we had walked past thinking it was closed but glad to be wrong).
Had dinner with my family on new years eve. First time eating in after using Akhtars for takeaways for a year and it's even better than the takeaway !!!

Well I have gone passed this place so many times so thought it was time to drop in and have some food. The place is very large inside and so many confused staff!! It must have been training day. Food was served prompt and actually very tasty. Got a great deal for a starter and a main for around Β£13. So the deal is its cash only and you need to bring your own beer and wine....I will return!!

Me and my fiancΓ© just got a takeaway from here (first time) and we are SO HAPPY! We'd been struggling to find a decent Indian and this place is really delicious! The food tasted fresh and super flavourful, not at all greasy and decently priced. It's just round the corner from us as well which might be bad for our bank account...oops! The delivery guy was also lovely. Will definitely be ordering again!

Pleasantly surprised. I had to wait 40 mins but it was Saturday night & very busy. My meal was authentic, hot & fresh . I ordered masala fish & meat handi & both were delicious. I will ring to order next time but will deffinatly return. I enjoyed my meal.
Nice friendly staff. Clean and tidy environment. Food was tasty. Quite expensive but the quality was good. I really enjoyed the masala fish. You can bring your own alcohol if you want. Hopefully they will be getting a card machine soon. The owner stated he was going to get one on Elland Banter. I like the option to pay by card. I appreciate there is a cash machine across the road but I personally prefer to pay by card, cleaner and safer than carrying cash around. Five stars if they get a machine installed π
Nice evening with the family to celebrate joint birthdays, we all really enjoyed our food.

We have been going here for about 5 month now. The food is always spot on. Really good portions with plenty of meat! Saturday night we made a big order and everything was correct. Staff always polite. We have tried loads of different options from here and they all have a different taste. We have found at some other places the different curries can taste the same. Big thumbs up from us π we will be eating in as soon as we can
We had a great 'first' meal out. Felt safe and clean. Distance with fellow diners seemed a safe distance. Meal was spot on, tasty and fresh. 2 things to note, its cash only and unlicensed. However you can bring your own booze.
Me and my partner come here often, this is the only place outside of Bradford that I enjoy. The food is usually very fresh & tasty. No card accepted, bring cash and your own alcohol.
Visited this restaurant last week as we had heard such good reports & were keen to see for ourselves. Certainly didn't disappoint. The food is delicious. The place is warm & inviting & the staff are welcoming & friendly. Our waitress Leah, was lovely. No complaints whatsoever. We will be returning as soon as possible..

Just ordered a delivery, arrived still hot and within a good time. Both curries were the best tasting curries we have had in a long time. I was so impressed i even rang the restaurant to complement the chef. Would highly recommend hanif's an will be definitely returning.
