Best place in town to spend a few hours and a few quid. Would highly recomend
I'm fully aware that this is a spoons. But as far as they go, cannot grumble one single bit. The service is lightning fast, the food is seriously tasty, and the atmosphere is always booming. The staff are alway working tirelessly and it shows. Again, the food really is great here; value for money ca
A must go in this lovely town. Warm and cosy pub, nice and smiling staff, excellent food and drinks. Will definitely recommend! Was quite a mess during covid with a malfunctioning app to order, but afterwards all returned to normal! PLUS as a woman, an amazing solidarity when a drunk man was harassi
Cheap and cheerful. I often pop in with my lad for breakfast or lunch. We avoid Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings which tend to be rammed and noisy, which is fine, just not for us. I use the app to order from the table, drinks usually arrive within 4 minutes and the food about 5 minutes after t
Old pub feel. Can be very busy on the weekends. They us an online app to order and pay for food - works great! Will always visit here for some pints and a quick bite. Haggis pizza? Yes please.
Took a group of 20 German students and teachers here for lunch during their Exchange Visit. They thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Food was good and staff were very friendly and helpful.
Service is good using the app. Beer excellent, food decent, atmosphere a bit noisy and a few folk who'd clearly had a bit much.
Good pub grub. Reasonable prices and Always friendly and efficient service.
Nice staff, lovely building, good beer and reasonable food. Standard Wetherspoons but much to recommend it.
The food was good and not badly priced £6.99 for a full breakfast, tea and toast.
Great food and beer, and welcoming atmosphere! The staff is kind and helpful (thank you, Ebony, for helping in sorting out a problem with the payment!)
Good cheap scran but tasty. 3 meals for 20 quid is very rare these days. A few jakeys in but cheap drink on the go for them.
Stopped in on Thursday Curry Club, a good option if you want a cheap curry and a beer for £7.35, however, don't be expecting a curry house standard. Has some nice seated booth, AMEX friendly.
It's a weatherspoons, it's no different to any other, it's a quirky building, food was okay, staff friendly. Very weird place to keep condiments.
Tasty food and drinks at a brilliant price. A little crowded and noisy but that's to be expected with a popular pub chain. We will be back soon.
