I would say it is the best choppy around, I travel 12 miles just to get some chips, they are gorgeous.

Lovely, freshly cooked fish and chips. Friendly staff and they weren't wrong calling it "large fish" 😁

Friendly staff, fish and chips were spot on. Nearly didn't find it as hadn't realised it was tucked down the side street from the front row of shops.

My wife had the pie slab last time we were up in Seascale and it looked fantastic, so this time it was my turn. What a brilliant chippy. A true credit to Egremont.

Always friendly staff, efficient and super organised no matter how busy. I have pre ordered food and popped in other times . Shop is always clean. Chips are the best and portions are huge. Try the cheese and onion rissoles . Battered items are crispy and not greasy. This is our go to chippy.

Best takeaway in Cumbria. They do Cumberland Sausage wrapped in Bacon (Pigs in Blankets) except better, the chips are amazing too, large menu to choose from

Tbh, I was a little disappointed with my meal last night. By the time I got my fish & chips home they had turned into a soggy mess. The wrapping paper had all but disintegrated & the food itself was not in great condition. I think it was a combination of the way they were wrapped & the distance between the shop and home, 3 miles. Wouldn't it be better to package in boxes rather than just wrap in paper. However, I will be coming back.

The sat nav guides you to the area, please note its tucked between the other two shops, its easy to mis. We picked up fish and chips to eat on St Bee's beach whilst watching the sunset.

The cod was lovely. Unless I'm mistaken, the skin was not on the cod before it was covered in batter. I've only seen this done in places like Brixham before, it makes the cod much better.

Absolutely beautiful food. And they went out of their way to get me what I wanted even though it was closing time. Thanks so much. Loved it

OMG What a fantastic urban fish & Chip shop had my doubts when I saw the location but no worrys staff friendly and helpful fish really fresh to eat and chips were delicious a word of warning if you order large fish and chips its helpful if you are a family of two they are what I would call very generous portions truly diserving of the full 5 stars
