Brilliant place to settle down and have a delicious breakfast. Bob the builder breakfast is the one if you're hungry . Well worth a visit if you're ever in egham. Great customer service
Im considered one of the best chefs In the area and I've got to say I had the bob the builder breakfast today and it is the best breakfast in egham, the 3 girls working in there today were loverly and very helpful to other customers, and one of the girls even rememberd what a lady had in the last time.well done keep it up!!!!
Lovely old school cafe with great choice of food so perfect for our kids too. Polite and attentive service and the food was good too.
Lovely little place to eat, friendly staff and very good quality home cooked food
Great tasting food, great presentation. Friendly, happy staff. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommended A***
The best Egham has to offer! 10/10 for both staff & premises.
Food was awesome, always satisfied every time we eat here
Good value for money, yummy breakfast and super friendly staff! ☕️
Lovely Sunday morning breakfast! The food was delicious, and the cosy atmosphere made it the perfect way to start the day. £9 per person for a large breakfast that includes tea or coffee. Highly recommend!
Delicious full english breakfast, great choice (vegan, build your own, etc.) very friendly, helpful and fun service, clean and well decorated place! We brought out visitors from Japan and had a great time! Thank you! 😊👍
Really good brunch food, although as it is small service is slow and food doesn't come out at the same time. I love the (mango) bubble tea too.
Also really nice to sit outside; there isn't much inside space.

Owner operated brunch spot in Egham. It’s a great atmosphere with maybe room for maybe 20-22 covers.
We had 8 people in our party spanning four generations and there was something for everyone on the menu and everyone was so pleased with the food and service. We will come back and highly recommend.
How it works?
Amazing for walk-ins and find your seat , menus are on the wall and sauces and cutlery are set to the left hand side of the restaurant. Once you choose what you want go to the front and place your order. Remember your table number.
Get your cutlery and some ketchup, sit down and within 15 - 20 min you have all you need for a great brunch!
Food
The food is freshly made, a huge variety of brunch favorites. We would recommend the Pancakes, French Toast, Eggs Benedict and Chips. Food came out quick (especially for a party of eight!)
Service
The team does not normally take reservations. I understand this, there is no guarantee that the folks will show up and a business like this needs to make their weeks earnings on Saturday and a Sunday. However, if you call up and have a large party you might be in good luck.
The team is proffesional and make you feel like you are at a friends house for brunch rather than a restaurant. The owner operators can be heard welcoming customers aka strangers into the establishment whether they are in the front of house or giving a helping hand in the back. Equally no one get leave without a warm goodbye.
During the ordering and serving process, everything is smooth and met with a smile. Something’s might not work out, for example out of our 8 person order, one item was not in stock and the owner (not the server serving us) came out, apologized and made a very good alternate recommendations.
Drinks
Great choices. Coffee is nice and strong, kids loved their hot chocolates but the group favorite was bubble tea. All great options.
Tips
Great location if you live in Egham. If you are visiting there is paid parking at Waitrose and Tesco parking is free on Sundays ;)
Overall value
It’s rare to find good service these days and to couple that with fresh brunch favorites is very rare.
If you are looking for brunch in Egham area. Give this place a go!
It’s not easy running your own business so well done to owner operators at Egham On Toast. Keep it up, Well Done and Thank You!
Good food, good prices, good place for brunch
Decent variety of options, well prepared and reasonable prices. I enjoyed the food and would return.
The main downside was that they need to improve their air-extraction system in the kitchen as it was a bit stuffy in the dining area and my clothes smelt of fried food after.
A must visit if you are around Egham. A very pleasant atmosphere, cheery in the morning, and people seem happy to pop in for a breakfast. My pancakes were fluffy and the berry compote so luscious. You can order at the counter, or on QR code or an app if you are shy like me.
Lovely place for breakfast/brunch in egham!
Had the eggs benedict and builders breakfast- both of which tasted delicious! The bacon and sausages were very tasty and were of a good quality for the price!
Great atmosphere (you find your own table and order at the counter) and staff were very friendly!
2 brekkies with coffees for £16! Very good value and very full bellies!
Will look forward to returning when in egham next!
If you live in Egham, or are visiting, and you are hungry for some good, tasty and comfort food, look no further. Eggham on Toast (yes they are called that!!) a warm and welcoming little nook that is a locals favourite.
You will have great service, local banter and excellent hot food. Priced for students the cafe is a buzzing vibrant place to sit back on a Sunday brunch and glaze through the menu for that little something to brighten up your day.
The food is standard English staples and a hearty Builder's brekkie is well appreciated by the local builders, who frequently turn up for the large platefuls and generous portions.
The delectableEggs Benedict or the version with Salmon instead of bacon is a winner and do top it all off with a hearty portion of fresh pancakes. The menu has something for everyone and the healthy vegan options are fresh and fast and you will see dollops of spinach and avocado and fresh oranges all around ... So have fun and leave them a good review too. Helps small businesses excel and guess we all owe our appreciation for them as well as any essential worker for keeping the food fantastic!
Amazing little find, small and cosy but food was amazing and good value considering its location. I would highly recommend this place if you fancy a nice breakfast or lunch.
Delicious breakfast and very friendly staff!
only one negative, coffee was not to my taste. I always like it black and go for espresso, this one was a bit bitter and too harsh for me.
Nice little place with a very congenial atmosphere. Good range of tasty food, easily selected from the menu, then served quite soon after the order was placed at the counter. Convenient wifi and power sockets at most tables enables quick checks on emails while relaxing. Nice and friendly staff, too.
