I recently stopped at the Welcome Break Sedgemoor services on the M5 northbound between J21 and J22. I was very impressed with the facilities and the service I received.
The service station has a wide variety of food options, including Subway, Burger King, and Starbucks. I had a Subway sandwich and it was fresh and delicious. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and efficient.
The toilets were clean and well-maintained. There were plenty of them, so there was no need to queue.
There was also plenty of parking available, which was a relief as it was a busy day.
Overall, I had a very positive experience at the Welcome Break Sedgemoor services. I would definitely recommend it to others.
Welcomebreak Sedgemoor northbound – a cozy spot on the road. Compact services that can get a bit cozy for the big rigs. But fear not, clean facilities await. I hit up Starbucks and Subway – early birds get the friendly staff. Despite the hour, they're on point. If you're cruising by, this pit stop won't steer you wrong.
Good for a quick stop, toilets were well maintained and it wasn't overly busy! Picked up from food from Burger King and the food itself was exactly as expected but it was a longggg wait. I think long waits are fairly common for Burger King so it isn't the end of the world, but the fact that there is no indoor seating just made the stop a bit of a nuisance. No problems other than that though! Staff were lovely and the parking was fine.
A fairly standard motorway services stop, which provides basic convenience store, fuel station, toilets, and a selection of fast food and coffee outlets. The prices are typically above average as you expect from a motorway service stop. The coffee chain on site is unfortunately one which clearly is of the misguided belief that a burnt tasting bean means a stronger coffee - it doesn't. The coffee they serve is purely a stimulant and can not be enjoyed.
Stopped here on the way north for a lunch break. Got some food at the BK - which was quite enjoyable.
Visited the restrooms and did some shopping. Got some crisps and some Donuts from Krispy Kreme. And got some coffee at Starbucks.
No dogs allowed inside, so we had lunch outside. There are only a few tables, but none were taken.
The rest area is in fine shape, plenty of parking. A fine stop for a quick break.
The good breakfast, northbound. What a treat this place gets a five star just for Rach and Deb. Thank you
We regularly stop at these motorway services, fairly small so limited choice of eating establishments, dated toilet block, but usually clean. WHSmiths, Starbucks, Subway, but best of all Chopstix, absolutely brilliant food and reasonable prices, please note they only serve coffee in the morning's choice of cold drinks all day. Good parking.
For a service station, it was clean and tidy. Usual group of shops. Stopped by as it contained a Starbucks, the staff at Starbucks were friendly and efficient.
Smashing xx. Horrible 5hrs drive - broken (in the nicest possible way!) By services. Fuel at ALL - overpriced - as my old jalopy needs E5. They always load it (when they have a glut!!!) And it makes diesel look cheap!!! WHY don't have my ciggies - but RANG THE FUEL STATION FOR ME.. HOW SWEET xx. Yep, they had my 10 cigarillos - £5.60 at my local store - FOR OVER £8.00. WOW. Services clean, especially the loos. Staff friendly AND HELPFUL. Coffee + food choices available. Also - a space to walk my 16yrs old dog (110). FANKOO SEDGEMOOR xx ❤💋💋
The service at the WHSmiths, Burger King and Starbucks was excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient and you could also see the support team keeping everywhere clean and tidy.
