Lovely place, you have to say the Bloody Mary's here are legendary. Very friendly bar team, folk music too. Loved it

Lovely place, friendly staff and very nice atmosphere! The bartender was really nice and listened when I described how I liked my old fashioned! Made it perfectly! Also, the most incredible and talented human being was signing and playing on guitar that night, and I’ll never forget that. They had the most amazing and unique voice I’ve ever heard! I was mesmerised. We stayed the whole night, although that was not the original place.

The best bar in Leith. The friendly and down-to-earth team always give the place a great vibe. The newly revised and refined cocktail menu features some incredibly well made and well served classics as well as a selection of mother superiors own "Trainspotting" themed drinks. For non cocktail drinkers there's still a very acceptable gin selection and a hugely in-depth whiskey list. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for good energy and good drinks.
Food was really tasty, though a bit expensive. The staff were very friendly, faultlessly so, and the atmosphere was great. Friendly punters and one of those pubs you could spend all day in and have an excellent day. Will be back!

Have come here for a drink quite a few times ,unsure why haven't tried food here before ,was a suprise,a very pleasant one ,will be eating here again ,the pricing is very fair (and I'm from Yorkshire....:)),had the baorger a Thai pork patty...was great , actually ordered two ,glad I did .if hungry can mix and match with other specials ,chief using fussion cooking and it's a big hit .

We booked out the bottom section of the pub, what an incredible night. The staff were not only knowledgeable about what drinks were available but also suuper fun and joined in many of our games.
Was here yesterday for a friend's reunion food was amazing and the choice of drink including alcohol free was terrific definitely recommended
Great bar. The music is great, the wings crispy and delicious and the staff really know their stuff. One of the nicest dirty martinis I've had, and I requested it off-menu! Highly recommended.
Great wee pub, just popped in for beer and and bao bun and had the pleasure of listening to a few guys jamming with fiddles and a guitar. A great wee surprise 🎻🎤

Leith is likely the best spot in Edinburgh for relaxed tourist, chilled vibes. Even on a rainy day.
Fantastic array of scotches & bourbon. Strongly recommend the Caribbean Cask 14 year Balvenie or Glengoyne 12 year (who just go to the distillery instead)
Really varied drink selection, Leith Pilsner is a wonderfully smooth beer on tap.
Thé cocktails are good quality, smooth and strong, no scrimping on the shot sizes here, Can you beat a well balance Negroni ? No.
And the wings menu is just what all bars should have. AMAZING - Cauli Wings with Franks 🤟🏽
Customer service outstanding - you can’t beat a friendly Irish Lady who chats with ALL her customers.

First time trying out this place which I’ve heard a lot of good things about from pals. Lovely atmosphere with good outdoor seating, especially in the sun, slushie cocktails too. Currently hosting a fringe venue, so you can catch a wee show on the daily too.
