If you’re looking for authentic Indian street food, this place is definitely worth it. A must visit for every foodie who wants to try Indian street food. I loved every bite of all the foods I tried here. The quantities are good, perfectly cooked and seasoned, just like how you’d find in the streets of Mumbai! I’ll be going back again!

Potoba is a must visit for Indians who miss the special ingredient in their food. They serve great Indian & especially Maharashtrian street food with real good flavours and at affordable prices. You can also find Indian spices & other condiments here.

I have bought this Dahi Papri Chaat for the second time and DAMN it tastes so good and delicious. This is definitely an authentic outlet for street food. On the other hand, the shop is so clean and organized, the staff is so friendly. Their Indian street food is highly recommended to try.

Don't expect British Indian classics, this is street food. Its good, sometimes hot. Service can be odd. I have never seen a lunch place shut for lunch before. But its tasty and fun.

We visited Potoba twice last week when I visited Scotland. This is such a great place, popular for Indian snacks. I thoroughly enjoyed mumbai street food on foreign land. I loved the mouthwatering menu especially pani puri, grilled sandwich, papdi chat, bhel and Indian cutting chai ☕️. Place is very warm and welcoming with friendly staff. We would definitely visit again.

Amazing addition to the Indian grocery chain at Gorgie area. This place serves niche products that other Indian grocery chains don’t offer. Brands like Sohum, Chitale, Telugu Foods, etc. the shop also boasts a quality kitchen that serves best Indian/Desi style sandwiches, chai, North Indian Chaats. Must try if you’re at Gorgie area.

I had an absolutely delightful experience at POTOBA - Indian Street Food and Grocery Shop on Gorgie Road in Edinburgh. The warm atmosphere, exceptional service, and mouthwatering flavours transported me back to the streets of India. The wide variety of vegetarian options and access to Indian groceries added to the outstanding experience. Highly recommended for all food enthusiasts!

A good place to try some authentic Indian street food. We tried the delicious Pani puri, Dahi Samosa chat and Samosa chat. First place when I found the famous Gajhak. They have got other Indian state’s specialties also.

Travelled from Glasgow as I had heard a lot about this place. It really does live up to these reviews I must say. Very close to authentic taste that I had forgotten. Hard to find Maharashtrian groceries is certainly nice to see.

Food was tasty, neatly packed in eco friendly products and the order was ready by the time we booked it for. Perfect choice for the current weather which is gloomy and depressing!! Enjoyed it!!
