Thrilled to stumble across a high quality bakery in the city. Products look and taste excellent. Caters to vegans with extensive options available for celebration cakes, one of which my friend ordered for my birthday last week. Thank you for an incredibly fast turnaround with that order, Krema. You rock!

This place has too many yummy choices. Love their Krema bun which is like a cinnamon bun but sweeter. My kids loved the chocolate pie cake I bought them so we will definitely be back to try more. If you have a sweet tooth this is definitely the place to get yourself a treat.

Krema is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. The window display always catches your attention, and the smell inside the bakery is simply divine - you wish you could have it in a candle! The selection of sweet treats is fantastic, and each one is fresh and bursting with flavour. They have a range of traditional Greek desserts as well as some modern adaptations. I particularly enjoy the portokalopita and galaktoboureko, which are my personal favourites so far.

This bakery has the best cinnamon buns from anywhere I have tried!!! I am always on the hunt for the best cinnamon bun and have tried and tested MANY, but Krema hands down is in a league of its own. The buns are so soft and moist, and the flavour is unreal. Their other cakes look amazing too!! A must try.

I must say that as a Greek living in the UK, Krema Bakehouse sweets and brioche are the best in Edinburgh by far. The taste of each sweet is superb and I highly recommend anyone to go try their products. You will end up like me buying a bag full of sweets 😂😂😂

Oh my god! I’ve never had delicious tarts like these in my life. We got the Feuilletine( no sugar), strawberry and Mango & passion fruit tart. My favourite one has to be the Feuilletine( no sugar). Each small tart cost us around £1.5 but the mango and passion fruit one cost us around £1.7 . I would totally come here again to try some other stuff.

Oh ya beauty! This place is heaven. I was drooling at the shop window with all the sweet treats. They have even more inside. The shop is very modern and clean. I like how it’s an open kitchen so you can see the bakers produce the goods. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. There are so much variety from cookies to brownies, loafs to tarts, pies to buns and everything in between. Apparently they change their produce often which I love to hear. The lady that served us told us the history of the shop which was nice. In the end we got a few things. I couldn’t pass up on the pistachio and dark chocolate Greek brioche which was so lovely. We also got these Bueno Krema Puff which was deliciously sweet, the crème is so thick that it gets stuck at the roof of your mouth (maybe I should take smaller bites). We also got a small tart which is sugar free but still very tasty. The crust was like a soft biscuit. What stole the show was the filo pastry cone. Much simpler than the other items but tasted divine. The pastry was delicate, sweet and crispy and filling was so delicious. It was a omg moment when it entered my mouth. My wife also got a hot chocolate which was great. But it’s all about the food. If only the shop was located in a nicer area of town. Those roadworks are hideous. I absolutely love this place and want to go back now!

We recently got a Birthday cake from Krema Bakehouse. They made a beautiful eggless vanilla & chocolate cake with the colours we requested. It tasted absolutely amazing. Apart from the cake, I also often visit and buy brownie and mousse from them. They have the most amazing brownie and mousse. Highly recommended baked products!

Krema is a gem of a find in Leith! A place to discover some Greek pastries that you won’t find anywhere else in Edinburgh! So unique and I was so interested to learn the difference between French Brioche and Greek Brioche. Thanks for the education and the amazing treats! Also so accommodating for my daughters birthday - catered for my party with mini tarts and brownies and a scrumptious birthday cake! Highly recommended for a drop In Coffee and cake or a pre ordered party cake!

So glad we visited!! What an amazing addition to Leith walk. The shop itself looks so lovely and the choice of cakes is just incredible. The orange cake stole the show for us but we will definitely be back to sample a lot more. So, so impressed and happy to have them nearby!! Go, you won't be disappointed!!

Just had an orange drizzle cake. Light as feather sponge drenched with an orangey sort of seville marmalade tasting syrup. Delicious and the best tasting and textured cake I have had in a long time. Thanks Krema!

Excellent tarts! Tried both the lemon meringue tart and the apple and cinnamon tart, and they were very good quality. Look forward to visiting again to try other cakes.

Freshly backed desserts are difficult, time-consuming and a very delicate process. This bakehouse does it well and fresh so enough said. I have tried 10 different desserts and can say that they mostly get it absolutely right. I was impressed recently (02/2023) by what they called "baklava", more of a nutmeg and mixed spiced nuts-layered syrupy filopastry -"kullaj" Go have a look, and try. I'd really like them to try baking a few other desserts, alas!

I was recommended this bakery whilst on my recent trip to Edinburgh. It was a little way away from where we were staying but was 100% worth the trip (we even went a second time during our 3 day trip to Edinburgh!). Everything we tried was delicious but the cinnamon buns were particularly delicious!
