Very friendly service. Great location. We had a great view sat at a window bar watching the world go by at the beginning of Princes Street. The Scottish breakfast was great with lovely home made beans washed down by a local beer (well, I was on holiday).

Had breakfast here with friends on our recent trip to Edinburgh. Would highly recommend to book because they are really busy. After tasting their food I am not surprised!! Our breakfast was awesome, great portions, full of flavour and judging by the empty plates from the other tables around us there were some very happy customers. We felt it was a good 👍🏻 price. Atmosphere excellent, friendly staff and very welcoming. Our waiter was Dave, so huge thumbs up Dave you made us feel welcome, you were extremely efficient and attentive. Highly recommend a visit you won’t be disappointed.

The food was decent; I opted for the Peter Pan waffles which was a nice sweet treat. There were plenty of options. The staff, who were incredibly friendly and had a great sense of humor, added to the overall positive atmosphere.

We on our 6 day trip, regretfully only tried Society bar and kitchen once on our last day, this place is amazing in food, cozy atmosphere and service. food: wide selection of breakfast dishes , hot and cold, including sweet and savory. We had the overnight oats and the homemade granola bowl. for a light "dessert" we had the Peter pans Belgian waffle. All three dishes were indeed very tasteful. we also ordered coffee and hot chocolate, great coffee and the hot chocolate also for the first time tasted like actual chocolate. service: service at society bar were wonderful, for the first time on our trip, we felt truly and heartwarmingly welcome, after being asked a few questions regarding allergies and where we were from we were seated to a lovely window side table :)

An excellent spot just steps from Edinburgh Waverly. We came on a whim with no reservation and a party of six (with luggage!) and were greeted warmly and seated quickly. The food and drinks were outstanding—we must have ordered half the menu between our party, and everything tasted fantastic. The staff were professional, friendly, and accommodating, and the whole space was lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our brunch and would come back anytime (hopefully sooner than later!) Thanks so much to the staff for brightening our first day in Edinburgh!

We were a family of 10, this amazing breakfast spot was steps away from our hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was 10/10!! We enjoyed our experience.

Friendly welcoming staff, we were seated immediately on a Sunday during brunch, the place was very clean and bright and buzzing, the drinks were nice, the Turkish eggs were a little disappointing because the eggs were over cooked but they gave us replacement eggs swiftly once we notified them! Top tier service! You can’t beat the location since you get a great view and it’s pretty central!

We decided to have breakfast here, and it was the best decision ever. The chai latte was delicious, and the Scottish menu was incredible, we asked for scrambled eggs, and as the waiter said, they could be the best in the city. Very nice place with awesome food and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Super Service, nice team. Fantastic place for foodies. Had twice breakfast here. Avocado toast with dukkah, chilli oil (and I added poached egg) really hit the spot. A great combination of flavours and quality. Turkish eggs was refreshing and delicious. The Drinks also were perfect- a great coffee! Not always easy to find. Easy online booking system, was able to book an hour prior to breakfast. Excellent friendly service. If I could give more than 5 stars I would, will also comeback.

Was super busy when we tried walking in and nearly had to go elsewhere but luckily someone cleared up a table for us and got us seated right away. (Didn’t catch his name but he was super friendly, helpful and gave us great service so the tall, bearded gent will have to do.) Really glad we managed to get a table, easily made my top 3 breakfasts of all time. Had the full Scottish as I wanted my girlfriend to try tattie scones for the first time and she had the highlander. Even the baked beans were a cut above the rest, was truly lovely all in all. Cheers 👍🏼
