Great building as I remember it as a disco ,but building has been well preserved, service is good and food was nice ,plenty seating all be it upstairs
One of the best Wheterspoons venues I have been too. The decoration and style is very well done and the place is huge with lots of seats.
This is probably the nicest spoons I’ve been in. It has a super amazing interior, is busy but you can still hear yourself and your friends because it’s huge inside and carpeted. Great place for food or drinks.
A lovely old Cinema converted to Spoons. Kept the upper circle so you have a great view to ground floor. It's large and very busy on the week days I visited.
My family and I are staying at the Sheraton across the street from here. So we decided on a quick dinner spot nearby.
Let's just say we came here a bit apprehensive due to past reviews saying food were cold. However, everything came out piping hot and within 10 minutes after placing our order.
The ordering system here is super simple. You go in and choose your own table. Scan the QR code on the menu or download their app - put in your table number, choose your items and pay. After eating, we just get up and leave. No need to wait on any servers. We love it!
Now the food - we got the Chicken Tikka Masala and the chicken Katsu Curry. Both came with drinks included (glass of orange and a whole can of Monster Mango Loco). Portions were fairly large and everything tasted unexpectedly delicious!
And for the price? Only 20.69 GBP total which is around $25 USD - that is massively cheap!! For food and drinks? Goodness!
We left full and very happy!
Fantastic venue! One of the cooler Wetherspoons I've been to. The theme was really well built and the vibe was great. Affordable as always. Staff were friendly as well. My only issue was that my table wasn't properly cleaned and had a little stain hence the 4 star. Overall great venue will definitely visit again.
Wetherspoons gets a bad rep. This location was beautiful, with plenty of room and delicious affordable food and drinks. A must visit for a cheeky pint in Edinburgh.
The interior is quite impressive, very spacious place, friendly staff will bring you all the food you order at once. The amount and quality is acceptable, just enough to fill the stomach. The burger was good, although BigMac would be probably more delicious and cheaper. Pizza appetizers could be cooked from frozen, but still not bad.
There is nothing like JD Wetherspoon. They offer great service, they allow you to be yourself, also very much pocket friendly.
The best bar is Edinburgh!!
Food and drinks are cheap and delicious!
There are three floors and many seats inside like a theater. Come and enjoy at night!
