It was okay. The food was good, the service was fast and efficient, and the had some tasty not too expensive wine. The downsides were: 1) According to Google Maps, this bistro was closed when I came there. But it wasn’t. 2) Calamari was some unfrozen supermarket stuff, not a genuine dish. 3) Lamb casserole was in the menu but wasn’t in reality. 4) in their breakfast, haggis and black pudding were too dry.

Lovely meal, great coffee. I had the La Plaza Style breakfast, and it was cooked well, but could be seasoned more. The coffee was robust and I like that. I had a cappuccino. The owner was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was chilled. There's plenty of seating inside and outside. I would recommend giving this eatery a try. 👍

Found by chance - nice enough little place - hot drinks not the best but cakes amazing. No opening windows so a bit stuffy inside.

I can 100% recommend this place. While our time in Edinburgh we had breakfast there every morning. The service was more than friendly and attentive. The food (porridge, Egg Benedict+bacon, hot morning roll, diverse sweets) was really good. Familiar atmosphere in a clean and pretty bistro :) we will come back!!

After exploring Dean Village we stumbled upon this place for lunch. We had our little well behaved dog with us and we were able to sit inside with her. The man who served us (sorry I didn't get your name) was friendly and helpful and quickly checked the ingredients with the chef to accommodate my dietary requirements. I'm so glad I opted for one of the lunchtime main meals as it was delicious! The only downside was we were so full we couldn't manage any of the yummy looking cakes... We would really recommend going here :)

Guys. The biscoff cheesecake is the best sweet I’ve had in my life. No joke. Made in house, so freaking good! Other food was great too! (Falafel and lentil soup). Coffee tasted fresh and looked classy. Waiter named Uno made the experience all the better. Very polite, very attentive. Simply a great food experience in Edinburgh. Away from all the touristy bs.

A nice little place to stop off on a cold evening and eat some haggis burgers, I think I am addicted to haggis.

Was down in Edinburgh for the weekend and came across this place so popped in for breakfast. Was attended to very quickly, ordered full scottish breakfast, not too long a wait for it to be served. Only gripe were the sausage seemed of poor quality but apart from that no complaints. Good price also. Def recommend
