The Highlander cocktail is one of the most delicious ones we tried! Don't hesitate to order it. It was my first time trying the Higgs and I loved it! It's made on a delicious potato base with a sauce on top that, when mixed, creates an excellent blend of flavors.
Love this place- went twice in two days. The decor is great, the Tomato & Cream soup was perfect for warming up. Service was quick however they donβt serve for 15mins between breakfast & lunch (12-12:15pm) we felt strange but was happy to wait.
Really good food, I had the Scottish Salmon and the sauce was frickin' π€π. Hubby got the fish and chips and definately had no complaints. Nice atmosphere, good drinks. They can't serve children under 5 years old here though! Something about their licensing. Anyways, great meal and very friendly staf
We had a lovely meal at this place. Really flavourful, especially the sauces. I haven't tried haggis before because I was a little reluctant but it was amazing. Both plates ended immaculate by the time we finished. We were two people and maybe it would been better another side or even another main,
Popped in to shelter from the rain and ended up staying 3 hours.
The food was really good, the service was excellent, but not in your face π
Fantastic!
I came upon this place while walking down the royal mile. Immediately was greeted and sat by the bartender, who took my drink order right away.
I got a whisky and a beer.
I then ordered truffle fries for a starter which were great- crispy, fresh and lots of truffle flavor.
I ordered the b
Really enjoyed dinner here. Comfortable, friendly and my meal was yummy. I was visiting Edinburgh and happened upon this place while doing souvenir shopping. I wasn't sure what to expect. But, it turned out to be a hidden gem. This dish was filling, flavorful and full of veggies. Loved it! Photo: Ro
Great lunch option and so many choices! The kids loved the Mac and cheese and burgers. I loved their chicken and avocado sandwich and their steak sandwich was also very good! Highly recommend and would come here again.
Cullen Skink is delicious, but the scottish salmon is overcooked.
Absolutely Delicious! We popped in to Copper Still on a hot day to get some refreshments whilst exploring Fringe Festival on High Street in Old Town Edinburgh. Great staff, great food and great people-watching.
The Semillion-Blanc was exquisite and while you are at it try the Haggis burger!
