Visited the place for a beef Wellington experience for 2. Had very high expectations and was very happy that food, service, and atmosphere met all the expectations. We got our table almost straight away. Were sitted at a cozy table and food and drinks arrived in no time. As for the food, tartar and
My wife and I visited this excellent restaurant early on a Monday evening. We had booked online and chosen the set menu, the far cheaper but more limited of the two menus (this menu ends at 6.30pm). Upon arrival, we were whisked upstairs by a smart looking man and placed at a lovely window table. Se
Cocktails were great, the appetizers were small and not exciting. The main dish, Gordon's beef Wellington, unfortunately came without the iconic prosciutto and been replaced with a crape, I think it should be mentioned in the menu as this dish is so iconic, the mash poteto was grainy and not very ta
To be fair it wasn’t as easy as I expected to eat really well in Edinburgh but this is one of the places I found more than ok. Great decoration, open kitchen, nice crew and food at the height of the place. I’d repeat when I come back to Edinburgh - Recommended!

On family vaca and we did a Gordon Ramsey dinner night. From service to meals it was picture perfect - even better than we hoped. This was my first beef wellington and geesh I have been missing out!
We were given a buyagift voucher to use here. I went online to validate the voucher, then had to contact the Bread Street Kitchen to confirm our booking. They then contacted me by txt prior to our visit to make sure we were still coming. We were warmly greeted at the door and after handing over the
I was visiting Edinburgh during the Fringe festival and went to the GR restaurant with 2 friends. The food was fantastic but even more so was the excellent service from both Mercedes and Erin. Mercedes, in particular, was very friendly and we had a ball! Couldn't thank her enough for her excellent s
Great restaurant just opposite St Andrews Square, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Food is superb, presentation was excellent and our main course was exceptional. Service was second to none, thanks to our server Alice for making us feel very welcome. Will be back. 😁
This was the highlight of my vacation! The food was amazing. I got the tropical fruit sundae for dessert. It was so good that I wanted to lick the bowl after I was done.
