This afternoon, Wednesday 23/8/23 I had lunch at 1250.
I was served by Cai and Jake (or Jack?) and I was left feeling really pleased. Enough to go out of my way to write this review.
Brownie Points where Brownie Points are due, I always say.
It started with Cai helping me with the App and choosing a deal. There were no other cars in the drive through, so he didn't rush me or make me feel like I'm bothering him. That unfortunately happens all too often these days.
After payment was made I went to next window where I remembered something so asked Jake/ Jack for a special request.
Once again, like Cai, he was smiling, polite, friendly and helpful.
Between them, they made my McDonald's personalized to my taste, they both brightened my day by being friendly and they went above and beyond when they didn't have to and most actually do not.
Thanks, Fellas! Ronald McDonald would be very proud š¦
The cleanest and the fastest McDonalds I've eaten at BUT, not to this particular place, but in general, whatever happened to your hot drinks? They are all disgusting and it wasn't this way before.
The coffee is terrible, I tried them all looking for a bearable drink, the 'hot chocolate' tastes of water rather than milk! I used to love coffee at McDonalds now I avoid it like the plague.
Drive thru was amazing Abbie, was really nice and helpful, I got a really cool toy in my happy meal
Quick and good service from the staff. The burger was freshly made and I loved the sweet curry sauce. But the fries were a bit soggy and bland to my taste.
Dined in with my husband for lunch on Friday, 31 March. We noticed a diligent young lady staff named Millie (at least that was the name shown on her name tag) who cleaned the table and swept the floor every time somebody had just left. It was a busy afternoon and she must have been exhausted, but she was very professional, smiling at customers while working tirelessly to keep the place clean for all of us to dine in comfortably.

My order was correct, and they had all of our changes right. The server was a little less than happy, but it was 5pm and busy, so I can understand that. He was still polite and helped me with my issues.
The store has recently gone through a refurbishment that has changed the layout and how they present the food and kitchen. This, I think, has improved the look and feel of the place, BUT.
I was waiting 35 minutes for my food after I arrived, which was ordered as a takeaway (paid for 2 bags). They presented it to me on a tray to eat in. After I noted that it was to take away, the server grabbed a bag and packed it in to take away. In the end, I had to fit 3 meals and extras into 1 bag because they hadn't checked the order thoroughly.
overall good impression, clean and nice staff. BigMac tasty, but the fries came out worse.
Not too much to say honestly. You get what you pay for. Ever since the move to āself serviceā, thereās no urgency from the staff. Fast food is no longer fast.
