What a treasure this place is! Visiting the UK from the states and have been a lifelong pizza fanatic. This was some of the best pizza Ive ever eaten, bar none. The gentleman behind the counter works very hard as he is busy from lots of orders as you can imagine. Thanks again for the experience!

Lovely family owned place, you can see the food being made and the owners are so nice 👍 The food itself was fantastic, I was craving real Italian and found it here!! Would come back Note that the place doesn’t have much seating so it’s more suitable for takeaway :)

Molto bene. This is Southern Italian pizza at its best. The base has that grainy sourdough legit vibe going on. The toppings are literally Italian and the generous use of them (and the bend it up the side of the box serving size) means you'll find yourself diving into a world of flavour that will leave you coming back for more. Try the Italian sausage with friarielli (greens) and mozzarella. And if course the capricciosa. Highly recommended.

I have been a customer of Zia Italia since it opened in 2020, Mariano as well as an excellent cook is also a fantastic very friendly person who makes you feel at home, his double mozzarella porchetta and potato pizza is something unique in the world.

Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures as when I try a pizza for the first time, all my priorities focus on the dough, the cooking and the taste. Verdict: this pizza enters in my Edinburgh short list. The highest point goes to the ingredients, the porchetta was the real thing, not pulled pork or imitations, but real porchetta romana. The dough is a napoletana style dough made with long proof and strong Caputo flour. I had a pink bow with porchetta instead of mortadella, my wife had a capricciosa. Both of us enjoyed it, I'll be back to try it out of the oven as it should be done!

It is a wonderful small family owned diner! The Italian specialty food here is rich with flavor, and is prepared promptly in front of your eyes! 10/10 would recommend! (The food smelled so good, I forgot to take a picture 😅)

This might be the best pizza in Scotland. I realize that’s not saying much but as a New Yorker who’s spent a lot of time in Italy (Napoli) this pizza is up there globally. And the Italian family who own it make the food themselves. Lovely people too. This isn’t the sort of local business you support out of some sense of charitable obligation to help them compete with the chains. This is the sort of place you choose to go because their pizza is 1000x better. I would franchise this place all over the UK if they’d let me.

Stonkingly great artisanal pizza, with what must be home-made sugo, highest quality toppings and the best-ever crust. Crust is dusted with crunchy cornflour and achieves a perfect balance between char and chew. This stuff is seriously great.

Such delicious, authentic food, their pizzas are to die for! You can tell a lot of love and care goes into all of their food, and the pizzas are made fresh in front of you. Beautiful ingredients, and always a warm and friendly welcome that makes you feel at home. Absolutely miles ahead of any other takeaways nearby, just as good as pizzas I've had in Italy - can't recommend enough!

Our local pizzeria run by a charming couple from Naples - how lucky are we! Authentic Italian pizzas are the best we have ever eaten in Edinburgh. Delicious home made Italian desserts also available.

Nice guy working there, friendly, well laid out and unique pizza shop. Pizza was filling, shame it got cold really quickly as I ate on way home and couldn't enjoy my last few bites but in all fairness really good pizza for ÂŁ6

Great pizzas. Chose a Margarita with Nduja and a Margarita with double Gorgonzola. The take away has become a regular as the quality is first class. If you want a delivery order using on their published mobile.

Fabulous local pizza. We used to go all the way to Civerinos but now feel this is better quality, cheaper and closer (to us). It remains the best pizza on the southside and incredible value.
