Poor driver couldn't find me home cos of street setting but he phoned and delivered food🥰 my street option was spicy and I hate spicy food BUT WAS SO DELICIOUS I ATE ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING. I'm using this takeaway today again. It deserves to have on 5⭐ nothing below. Well done.
This is the best Indian take away I've had in years and I've had a lot, I've even been to India and this is right up there. The Calamari was better than most restaurants, the South Indian Garlic chicken was spot on, it says it contains coconut but it's not obvious which is good. The quality of the chicken and how it's cooked sets it apart from rival places alone. It's also the least greasy curry I've ever had.
I so hope this place is here for a long time. Someone said there's paid reviews but this is the real deal.
Absolutely delicious! Had a meal delivery at parents' on the Thursday. Was so impressed ordered another on Friday night too!!!! Fresh ingredients creating fabulous flavoursome dishes. We chose from the classic 80s section and I have a feeling we'll try the 90s.....and probably work through the entire website. Speaking of which - this is a vibrant and colourful site with dishes photographed and the modify option per dish allows you to select mild, medium or hot. Love being able to have this choice.
Oh - nearly forgot: our food arrived in a gorgeous wee drawstring bag that I'll enjoy using. I know they say "You can't judge a book by it's cover". But in our experience you can judge a Ruby by it's bag!!!!
Can't wait to order again.

Wonderful Indian food experience
I would like to start of with their portion quantity. Simply superb.
The quality of the ingredients is evident in the dishes and I should definitely mention their delivery, it is the best. I normally don’t prefer Uber delivery, as some of the delivery staff can be rude( Please don’t take it offensively, I am not generalising). But Bell bottom delivers their orders with their own staff and they are super friendly. Thank you Bell bottom for the experience.
Absolutely phenomenal. Such a treat. The flavours down to the fine details. Blessed to have found this gem of an Indian takeaway that caters for my dietary requirements!

Great Indian takeaway! Ordered through just eat(always on time) and collected once. Good portion sizes for price. Menu tells you what is gluten and dairy free!(also what's vegan) Always been fresh and hot on arrival. Chicken is tender, delicious and you get a good amount of it. One of the best Indian's we've tried! Gives you the options of mild, medium or hot for your curry sauce. Husband loves the medium Tikka Masala and I would recommend the medium Jalfrezi. Authentic Indian flavours! If you like your curries then you have to try here!!

1st time ordering and weren't disappointed.
Others have noted about the price increases, thing is I work within the industry and our suppliers are hammering us as well.
So I wouldn't be surprised if your favourite dish is a few quid more - everywhere.
Food is amazing though the price is starting to become untenable.
I've ordered from Bell Bottom for years now and it's by far and away the best indian food I've ever had. It's not oily, everything is generally to perfection and I've never had any service issues. In fact they are one of the few takeaways that go the extra mile in the latter.
Prices for Bell bottom were already fairly high compared to the competition, however these are continuing to go up and are now approaching the point where it would be the same price or cheaper to actually eat in an Indian restaurant, with most dishes costing £2-4 more each than everywhere else.
Whilst I'll still order from Bell Bottom, it may be more of a one off than a regular due to cost.
Hands down the best Indian takeaway in Edinburgh. I've tried many different curries and they're all excellent. Each portion is plenty to split between two or do you for dinner and lunch the next day too. The only flaw we've found is that the level of spice can vary a little bit between orders when ordering the same dish and the same level of spice.
We ordered the prawn bhuna, lamb biryani, lamb rohan josh and the peshwari naan. The food was really tasty, the order came really quickly and it was still really hot. Definitely the best Indian takeaway we've tried and would 100% order again.
This is our new favourite Indian takeaway. The one we’d previously used for years was slipping in quality, the food inconsistent and oily. We tried Bell Bottom and were so pleased - it is terrific. We’ve had 3 meals from it at the time of writing and all have been excellent. We got food for 8 people last night and every single dish was delicious. (And not oily). Hope it stays consistent! PS - The fabric bags they put the takeaway in is a nice touch.
Just had our Christmas dinner and it was so lovely. The tandoori king prawns were massive glad only ordered a small portion. Lamb bhuna for my partner tasted lovely and the starter's and Dahl were also tasty
Food arrived hot, fresh perfectly cooked tasted lovely. And considering it was so late at night/ early in the morning, they came from quiete far but it was still on time and fresh. Lovely service from the guy on the phone and the delivery driver. Really friendly staff. Thank you
Great food was a bit more pricey, but as a first time customer I got 20% discount. Me and my partner ordered quite a few things all was delicious. Which all arrived in a lovely little patterned fabric bag which was a nice surprise. Will likely order regularly, thankyou.
