We had the chicken fingers with Parmesan, bacon, Cesar sauce, and Korean kimchi chicken sandwich with togarashi seasoned fries and home made ranch dressing dip.
We also ordered the fried cordial olives. They were phenomenal. I've never had fried olives. I love olives. Having them in a delicious crunchy batter was a game changer treat!
Service was great. We didn't have to wait long for food.
It was delivered fresh and hot. I love it when fries are delivered so hot they burn your fingers!!

Food was absolutely delicious. Chicken burgers were cooked perfectly and as a burger with sauce was 10 out of 10. The chips I had as a side were so tasty also. Service and atmosphere was great also. Would definitely recommend!
A very good burger. They doin a great chicken with buttermilk batter. Price a little too high. The chicken fingers were also very good. And the salad was exquisite!!

This is the place for the best chicken burger in Edinburgh. The buttermilk fried chicken was very juicy and crispy. And you have to dine in for the best quality, as those through delivery would definitely be soaked to some extent. I won’t rate their beef burgers very highly, they were fine yet not particularly impressive. Stick with the fried chicken you just can’t go wrong with it in Butta.
From the delicious food to the friendly and welcoming staff, via the chilled yet modern atmosphere, this place is perfection. The guy assisting us was called Sonny and was a complete gentleman. He was so full of passion and enthusiasm for the business he works for, it was infectious. The burgers were incredible but the stars of the show for us were the home made sauces (especially the chicken gravy mayo, simply phenomenal). The chicken burgers looked enormous, wish I'd got one of them. If you're looking for an amazing burger, good vibes and all washed down with some fantastic, locally sourced, wine or lager ........Butta Burger just has to be your next night out. Couldn't fault it at all.
Amazing burger, great chicken as well. But expensive but would say worth it! Ask for their bbq sauce. Top tier!
We actually used George street butta burger as our wedding meal location and couldn’t have asked any more. We knew the food was amazing (highly recommend the truffle chick burger). The management team Sonny and Amanda in particular were amazing with their communication prior to the even and had me excited for the day. On the day Jon, Heather and Shery went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our day. This experience made hopefully that not all weddings need to be about money and being uncomfortable. The team never made us feel pressured or uncared for during the build up or the day of. We arrange welcome drinks and the meal was planned around our preferences. And even went back the next day to collect things and eat another burger(also a good hangover cure). We would 100% recommend butta for anyone wanting an event. Amazing team with amazing service and delicious food.

Fantastic burger joint.
Portions are very generous, and the burgers are absolutely delicious. We also grabbed some fries and mozerella balls.
The staff were quick, polite and helpful, and the food service was fast.

Amazing food every time. It's not cheap, but you get the quality you pay for. The food is crafted with a lot of care and the portions are generous. I always come here every time I'm in Edinburgh and I'm never disappointed.

Togarashi fries were great, Kiev chicken fingers were excellent too.
Mozzarella bites were bereft of any type of flavour, even salt, they were probably the blandest thing I've ever eaten.
The chicken wings were unsettling because although the meaty parts were hot and tasty, when picking up the wings, the wing tips were cold to the touch. Like I said, this didn't impact the flavour or temperature of the actual part of wing you eat, I just don't understand how the wing tips could be below room temperature when served.
Service was unremarkable, but not unpleasant.
I would eat here again but wouldn't rush back to do so.
Best burger we have ever eaten in the world. Hands down. You will not regret going here. Cocktails £5. Best place ever. Service is amazing and so efficient.
The food was incredible. 2 portions of large chips between 3 of us as well as our burgers and chicken kiev strips was more than enough. We wanted to try loads more on the menu !
