Been there a few times and it is one of my favorite places to eat out in Edinburgh. The staff is very friendly and the place is cozy and clean, it is also very well decorated and is fun to see a place like this. The food is simply amazing, I always ask for the tuna and salmon combo of sushi and is tastes good. If you like sushi and ramen this is a great place to go.

Love Umai sushi! Always fresh and excellent service. We usually order the salmon combo and cheesy salmon sushi. 👌🏻

Easily the best sushis and ramen I've had in town. They make their own noodles from scratch too! The service was incredibly polite, professional and efficient. The atmosphere was relaxing and decorations were beautiful too. I can't wait to go again, strongly recommend.

Hands down the best sushi I ever had, simply scrumdiddeliumptous! Presentation, taste, service - all top notch! Not at all pricey compared to the quality of the food, and the staff was super friendly.

Are you looking for sushi?! Then look no further! This place was a great find and even convinced my friend who doesn't like sushi!! The menu is large with many options. I had the combo platter which was about £25 for 20 pieces. The fish was so fresh and tasty I wanted more! The servers were really attentive, asked about dietary requirements too. The restaurant was clean and calming, no loud music just great to get out of the busy taffic of Edinburgh. Next time in in the city I'll be coming back for more!

Quiet cozy restaurant. Adorned with japanese books and tororo merchandise. The waiter were friendly. The sushi roll was really tasty as well as the plum sake, that came in a extra cold tone cup. Only disappointing dish was the chicken ramen (I don't eat pork or beef) tasted like boiled roasted chicken soup. My friend was super happy with her teryaki dish. Will come back again :)

My first time in Edinburgh, needed food. I found this place very last minute. I wanted to give a try. No booking needed. My partner and I had a table straight away. Staff was friendly and helpful, smile people were working here. The menu had a good variety with bursting flavors. Ramen was sublime! Sushi was fresh made. The food quality was amazing. I highly recommend the belly pork ramen, salmon roll.

The food here is delish and such great options for the price. Everything was super fresh, came out quickly and looks beautiful. The staff aren’t the most outgoing or friendly but that’s okay. The overall atmosphere is good, non-traditional!
