Mirin - Edinburgh - Photo album

Amazing good food with East Asian influences was very delicious. Each dish had its own speciality and surprise. It was difficult to choose my favourite. I loved all the dishes I had there. Highly recommended. Definitely coming back to the restaurant soon.
Cute cozy Japanese ramen shop. Enjoyed the small plates. The ramen was not my favourite, the broth was good but the charsiew wasn’t as authentic. Friendly service and cute interior. Has two tables outside for walk-ins.
Absolutely amazing. The pistachio crusted pigeon breast with black pudding and daikon might be the best thing I've ever eaten. Everything else was merely brilliant. Go here, you won't regret it.
For me, this place does the best ramen in Edinburgh! We got the hot chicken to share and the pork dumplings for starter. The hot chicken was so tasty, it had so much flavour and was so crispy (also it wasn’t too spicy). The dumplings were only just ok, nice flavour but not the best I’ve had. The ram
Situated in Leith walk, Gulp Ramen, now called Mirin, offers the warmness and coziness with the food. Their noodle is quite firm compared to other ramen shop giving the new sensation. It’s chewable but harder. Tonkatsu is their signature dish which is very creamy but can be salty. The pork is good.
I had dinner yesterday here, I could say that they serve the best ramen broth in Edinburgh. I ordered hot chicken ramen, it was so scrumptious. To be honest, I think the noodle is a little bit too chewy, but the have three different kinds of noodle, I will try the other two in my next visit. You hav
Went to this wee place twice and both times I had the shoyu ramen. I loved the cooking point of the noodles, the crispy and flavoursome chicken and the perfect cooked egg. Even the pak choi is incredibly good, not the usual boiled veggie thrown in the broth. I found the broth too salty and I couldn’
New place for us so enjoyed a lunch and will return. Strong flavours. Both starters barbequed to perfection. Followed by a tonkotsu (soba) and shoyu (Udon) noodle broths. Both great. Both finished! Friendly staff tops it all off nicely.
Wow so many people told me about this place before I went. The food is impeccable like one of the best places I've been too. We had a variety of tapas and wine and it is so worth it. Make a reservation!!! This place is usually fully booked well in advance, walk ins are hard. Book in advance. It's so
The texture and flavour of the noodle are so good! Recommend the hand crafted noodles!
I’ve eaten ramen in a lot of different places but here is surely unique. Plus the dumplings, so good. Great work, extremely satisfying💖 very glad, we had a chance to taste it :)
The roe deer tartare and the dumplings were absolutely perfect. The chicken and pork dumplings were especially special. The only two negatives were 1) I ordered additional pork at £3.50 and was given a single slice of pork (can see in the photo) and it was slightly slow to order to begin with. Overa
What a wonderful new place. We got take away and they gave us beautifully packaged meals to take home and such friendly service. The ramen came with detailed instructions and all ingredients in lovely packaging for us to make at home. The pork bun was absolutely sublime do not dare leave without one
Honestly not sure why the bad reviews... We had a good time and the food was very good. Lovely service who care if you don't get your table on time, never felt rushed but keep in mind it's a tiny place so don't plan to sit and be talking for two hours while having ramen (why would you do that anyway
Delicious food and attentive service. Everything was super tasty and we appreciated that they had a 'taster' portion of ramen as we were there for everything else. Great experience and did not disappoint. Will definitely be back!!
I feel I've eaten enough ramen around the world to know a good ramen from a so-so ramen, and this is a GOOD ramen! Although the menu isn't extensive I felt completely catered for as a vegetarian. I opted for the vegan ramen with an added egg. Very, very good It's not a massive place, but has a mode
Lovely staff and great service. The food was delicious especially the pork dumplings & Kimcheese Slider; the chicken ramen was a bit salty though. Overall, it was a great experience and I would go back. Note that there is limited sitting so I think it's best to book a table in advance. Enjoy!
First time having dumplings and Ramen, so Gulp was recommended as the spot to go. Lovely little place with super attentive and friendly staff. The place has really cool vibes and was a great central location to chill for a while. The food was super delicious, rich with flavours and looked stunning.
