What an absolute pleasure it was to eat here!!! The food is incredible! It is NOT Indian food, it’s going to be a unique experience. The names in the menu might be familiar but the flavours weren’t the typical. It was incredible spiced and aromatic. The service was amazing. Everything so delicious a
Visited this place with a Groupon voucher. Lots of choices, everything tasty, but not spicy. However at the end of the meal, we've been asked to pay £2.95 extra because we had a portion of rice and a naan. I've been using Groupon for a long while now and never heard something like this before. On th
Great good! Served hot and you can choose the spicy level for your dish! The naan is thin and crispy. Surprisingly flavourful! Generous amount of food! Vegetarian options available 😍
The vegetarian dal was amazing and the the naan was the perfect mix of soft and crispy. I love how many vegetarian options there are. Can’t wait to come back again!
We went to Royal Gurkha yesterday for dinner and it was such a lovely surprise. The prices are decent, the portions are big and there are a lot of vegetarian options. The paneer was delicious and the curry super creamy. We really loved the garlic naan, too. The owner is a lovely lady and it was wond
Visited here tonight, the food was absolutely lovely! So fresh and full of flavour, thank you for a lovely meal, we will definitely be back. Highly reccomend, the chicken tikka curry was my favourite !
Excellent. Have ordered twice so far and was impressed each time. Curries aren't oily, vegetables are cooked perfectly with a little crunch, meat is cooked well so that it falls apart easily. Naans aren't dry and have plenty ghee on them - delicious! Will definitely be ordering again.
First time .. really good! Madras, Bhuna and mixed veg curry. All delicious and big portions. Garlic Nan lovely too. Mixed pakora freebie nice touch and delicious. Thank you. Will order again.
What a little gem! Don’t be put off by how it looks from the outside or how empty it is inside. The food is absolutely amazing. And the staff will do anything they can to make sure you have a great meal.
Lovely little restaurant. Very friendly, informative staff and the food was delicious. Thoroughly recommend the Garlic Mushroom starters. Definitely be back soon.
I think it would be difficult to get better northern Indian and Nepalese flavours at any price in Edinburgh. A small unassuming place. Great menu and prices. Would recommend.
Family meal for 7, ordered online and collected as we're just outside the delivery area. 7 different dishes and various side dishes and sundries. Everything was delicious, Lamb Bhuna, Chilli Lamb and Chicken Jalfrezi were stars of the show, but the Rogan Josh was wonderful too. Tarka Daal to die for
Probably the best curry I've had in Edinburgh... Simply gorgeous! I would really recommend the garlic naan and bhuna. My mum had a vegetarian biryani which she was also full of praise for. Thank you!
The food was absolutely incredible and the staff were super sweet. Highly recommend the lamb biryanis, chicken tikka, momos, and vegetable pakora! You can’t go wrong.
