A low key, very friendly restaurant run by a delightful wife and husband team. The food is well balanced, full of flavour and of course spankingly fresh. The cakes are always great but if the rice pudding is on don’t fail to take at least one portion.
This place is amazing! The only reason it is not 5 star is because it is only open for very short. Once you eat here you become addicted, and then you want to eat here every day. Picture of my husband suffering on a Tuesday when it is closed
Highly recommend Susie's kitchen! I'm not vegetarian but I love all their food. So tasty and healthy! So far I've enjoyed the Thali curry, brownie, enchilada and veggie burger. And there's a new menu every week so there's always more to try!
I also appreciate all the measures they've put in place to ensure social distancing. I ordered online with a specific collection time and was able to pay-pass my card through the store window. Staff communicated through an intercom and used a pulley system to open the door from a distance so customer's don't have to touch anything except for their order.
We LOVED our two healthy and delicious meals from the small but varied menu. Really warm & friendly people running the place.
The regulars (and I got the sense there were a lot of them) are lucky folks indeed!

Went for lunch there today after reading the reviews, which are all accurate. Was very hungry after a long walk around Holyrood Park. I ordered the Greco bowl with a side of fries and flat white. Everything was fresh and delicious with good portion sizes. All the staff were lovely. Will definitely be back.
First of all, Susie is delightful and very welcoming. We were there for the festival and came for the fresh vegetarian menu, a welcome departure after several days of fried pub food. Our meals were fresh, flavorful and satisfying. The sticky toffee date pudding was also excellent. We hope to return!
