We love the place, the food is actually good and the ramen portions are so big we usually just ask for one starter to share and a salad besides the ramen because we always end up really full when we go there. The staff was so friendly and nice we couldn't stop saying thank you and fr wanted to stay
Best first ramen experience. The waiter was really friendly and welcoming. The food arrived within good time. Everything we ordered was uber delicious: prawn tempura, salmon ramen and chicken ramen. I cant wait to revisit!
Maki & Ramen Southside is an authentic Japanese sushi bar situated within a 5-minute walk of Edinburgh's Royal Mile. With its distinctive exterior and working ramen noodle workshop on display to passersby, it's hard not to get drawn into the restaurant to dine under the beautiful lanterns!

This place caught our eye as we walked past and we knew we needed to go in! It was definitely worth it. We ordered the chicken don buri, steak ramen & veg & pork gyozas. The food came out quick even though it was busy. Would highly recommend!
