Lovely charming atmosphere. Good service and food were yummy. Small restaurant with a variety of Italian dishes and a good selection of wine. I would recommend this place 👌

Yesterday we ate at another Italian restaurant that was OK so we where looking forward to eating at DaVinci's to see if we could get back on track. Nice 15 minutes stroll from The Royal Mile. Service was OK and the atmosphere was fantastic. The food was very good. I got a pesto type gnocchi and my partner got a traditional pasta with red sauce and seafood and also enjoyed the food. I would recommend DaVinci to anyone.

What a nice experience we had. The staff are attentive and wonderful to talk with. You have to try their appetizer mussels. So good and rather filling. We ordered the risotto with lobster and scallops. The risotto over all was delicious. Lobster was a little over cooked but the scallops were delightful. I would recommend getting a reservation. The place fills up quickly.

The food and service was perfect. The food was served quite quickly. The food itself was brilliant and the tiramisu was absolutely phenomenal. The table was a bit sticky, although every table was like this, I‘d give them the benefit of the doubt and say its so that the servings don’t fall of.

We ducked in here to escape the rain and are so glad we did!! The food was phenomenal and high quality, enhanced by exceptional and kind service. Do yourself a favour and have the gnocchi with pistachio pesto sauce… it was perfect.

Just walked in with no reservation, having just arrived in Edinburgh, & got lucky with a table. Turned out to be an amazing little Italian place. My very picky eater son loved his linguine & smoked salmon. The rest of us had risotto from the Specials menu. Music, wine, service, food - all fantastic! 🧡

Quiet, small, family run place. Welcomed and served by the owner, I believe her Italian husband was cooking in the back. We got served with good pace and very kindly. We ate everything with too much focus on taste to get photos because it was so good. Literally everything blew us away - bruschetta with tomatoes - seasonal vegetables - rigatoni alla zozzona … still thinking about this pasta - special surf and turf veal and scallops + shrimps. Perfectly cooked to tender and crisp perfection - modestly priced but excellent wine selection I have only good things to say. EAT HERE!

We just discovered this restaurant while exploring Edinburgh for the first time, and it was just what we needed! Just a few tables inside, but a great value set lunch menu with a good few options on, and the staff were super accommodating for a couple of small tweaks we asked for. Really tasty food and perfect portion sizes for lunchtime. Recommend!

Very friendly staff and quick service. We got the Risotto, the olives for a starter and Tiramisu for dessert and it was all fantastic! Would highly recommend.

Incredible meal, every bite was perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked and the pacing was right on the mark. We had bruscetta (fresh, gloriously balanced), rigatoni pasta alla zozzona (perfectly al dente, luscious sauce), veal t-bone (almosy cried it was so good), scallops (tender, perfectly seasoned), and prawns (succulent and fresh). The service was lovely. The couple who runs the restaurant clearly takes great pride in making great food. I was very happy to eat here.

Everything here was great! I had the gnocchi with king prawns in a creamy pistachio pesto & it was phenomenal. At first glance, I thought the portion might be a lil small for a big guy like me who likes to eat, but halfway through I realized I was wrong & was pleasantly full by the end. If I lived in Edinburgh & not the stupid USA I'd be here weekly, at least.

Quiet family restaurant with good made to order. Each meal was beautifully presented and tasted spectacular. Leave room for dessert because you MUST have some.

Arrived last minute asking for a table for... 11. The owner made some magic to accommodate such a big table and we ended up having 2 large tables for us. The ambience is refined. The food is out of this world (the gnocchi with king prawns are formidable), and the service is outstanding. Ah, and very well priced.

We enjoyed a very lovely dinner at DaVinci. We ordered the fresh mussels and the lobster bisque & scallop risotto, plus a green salad. Everything was quite good. The server/owner was very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.
