Had a lovely dinner here with my friends. The options of beers and IPAs were fantastic and tasty; my friend was served an espresso martini in a broken glass which we had to ask them to replace, and the drink wasn’t completely full when they did return it to the table. However the food was delicious we all polished our plates off easily. Good options for both meat eaters and vegetarians/vegans. Would come again.
Local brewery taproom with own and guest beers. Nice taproom and patio seating, good comfort food. Friendly, knowledgeable staff.
A favorite destination for me and my wife for a drink or two and dinner when we visit Leith.
The staff are awesome and the beers are tasty. My wife loves the Cabernet Sauvignon. Food wise, I
recommend the chicken schnitzel and Mac and Cheese.
The vibe is always chill and the music is great - 80s and 90s American pop music hits.
When the weather is nice the outdoor seating is fun for people watching and knocking back a couple pints.
Fair/ good food. Good beer. The first server behind the bar had a bit of a poor attitude. We were not the only ones who noticed her poor. We’re just hoping she was having an off day. The server who attended to us at the table was great. But we would go back. The Ossian was great.
Food was good, with vegan options. Wide selection of drinks available too - prices were reasonable
Great place to sup a beer while gazing out over the Water of Leith. Food is good too, we've eaten here a few times, and the beers are varied and delicious. Good non alcoholic selection, including the I&G 0% lager, which has fast become my favourite. The taproom is dog friendly too for days when you want a quiet pint with a four-legged friend. But the staff are the real stars here, they're friendly and welcoming, and happy to help you choose a tipple. Recommended.
My friend and I had a fantastic time trying beers here, after hiking the entire Waters of Leith pathway. (The taproom is literally right across the street from where the pathway ends in Leith.) We had a nice conversation with the bartender, who was very generous in explaining different beer styles and offering us samples before we placed our order. It was super easy to grab an outdoor table and enjoy our beers in the sun. I only wish I could have stayed in town for another day and come back here for another pint.
We visited the Innis & Gunn Taphouse on a Friday evening during a works night out and I can honestly say they catered brilliantly for our party of 11 people. The bar/restaurant is very comfortable and relaxed with a very, very good mix of beers on offer (other drinks are also available for the more sophisticated, lol) The attentive yet unobtrusive staff dealt competently with our food orders and numerous rounds of drinks and helped make it a good night for all.
I ordered the PigMac simply because the pun amused me but I have to say I did really enjoyed my hot dog with macaroni cheese while most of my colleagues ordered burgers and were very happy with the quality of both food and service.
If you are ever in Leith, don’t be shy, give the Innis & Gunn Taphouse a try. You definitely won’t be disappointed.
Brilliant staff, good food, favourite beer.
Very, very dog friendly 😻
What more could I wish for?
Great atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff. Awesome place to grab a pint and hang out.
