Juniper Bar in Edinburgh is my go-to spot! The cocktails are not just tasty but my absolute favorites. The view is lovely, and the cozy environment adds to the charm. Don't miss trying 'The Don' and 'Chocolate Orange' – they're fantastic! 🥰
Drinks at the bar are cool. Food snacks, try the mac and cheese, and the Haggis Bon Bons! Yum. Breakfast is awesome. The room fantastic.

I was looking for a hotel that had a bar where I could chill out and do some work and this is the perfect spot. I was also served by an amazing waitress called Maisey. Will definitely be visiting here again when in Edinburgh, it’s really nice and quiet but has a really cozy atmosphere.
Now our favourite cocktail bar due to the delicious cocktails but most importantly the service we receive from the staff especially the magnificent Megan! She truly goes above and beyond to make your visit the best it can be. She is such a bubbly, enthusiastic and professional person and is a credit to your establishment.
A group of 6 of us recently enjoyed evening drinks in Juniper Edinburgh.
Our drinks were served to us by Claudia and Meghan. They were wonderfully attentive and their cheerful and friendly personalities added to our very pleasant evening.
Juniper has an extremely comfortable and smart cocktail bar with magnificent views of the city skyline to enjoy whilst enjoying a leisurely drink or two. We will be back.
Amazing place! Staff are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and provide an excellent service!! In particular Jack, Megan and Anna were the highlight of our night and made the experience truly memorable through their service, would highly highly recommend coming through, even for a casual drink.
Highly recommend the bar for cocktails, they are so good and a very average price. The atmosphere is cozy but modern and the staff it brilliant. The facilities are clean and tidy, it is just a dream of a place. And the location is perfectly located at the heart of the city.
A quiet oasis, set apart from the usual crowded bar or noisy pub, assuming nobody pays any attention to this review. Very refined and sedate atmosphere.
Maisie is the most amazing waitress she will cater any need with the most professionalism she will go far good luck my girl well done!

Loved it, although when we were there, we couldn't eat in the restaurant , as it had a ceiling issue. Great food, lovely evening
Gorgeous cocktails and excellent service. Our friends really loved it too.
This place was so fancy but so welcoming - a perfect combination if you ask me. I turned up in trainers Cos I had heels in my bag to change into and nobody even batted an eyelid.
The gin is absolutely delicious, I recommend taking a sip before you add your mixer.
We had
- Tokyo At Night which wasn’t our favourite but was beautiful and fun to try. Its perfectly balanced but if you don’t like green tea you won’t appreciate it
- Boe Violet which was absolutely divine. I adore the taste of violet and it was such a beautiful colour
- I can’t remember the name but it had irnbru in it and omg it was perfect. The bartender was really accommodating and lovely and offered to swap out one of the liquors for a less bitter version and oof it was perfect
- a rhubarb gin which was so vibrant. Beautiful.
- halloumi fries which were delicious
- haggis bites which were a bit like scotch eggs but haggis instead, piping hot and delicious.

Always nice to pop in for a drink I love how they have Rekorderling cider as well which I find hard to get in a lot of places. Very reasonable prices as well and staff and friendly
