Nice restaurant inside the Tynecastle football stadium
Very easy to book and really nice welcoming staff to greet you and the service is prompt and attentive. The menu is nice with a lot of choice and the food is a nice quality and tasty. The restaurant itself is quite featureless and the skyline view is a bit restricted but overall it’s definitely worth a visit 👍
We had a beautiful meal here for our sons birthday. Food was superb and the service was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
Well, I never thought we'd have an amazing dining experience, with great service at a Scottish Premier League grandstand restaurant and not on a match day! It's no surprise this place is highly rated. The food was perfectly cooked and presented by a team of chefs on view in the open kitchen who clearly know their stuff. The table staff are equally professional, with plenty of attentive, yet discreet service. In my photos are starters of gin marinated trout, goats cheese rolls with sharing dips, and pork belly mains, roasted perfectly with crispy crushed fennel seed top, plack pudding bonbon and a jus as good as you'll find (or hope to create at home!). Enjoy this unique experience....if only my home team of HTAFC and plenty of other clubs could seize such an obvious opportunity, be it match day or not.
Very fortunately, I’d found this restaurant from the Google Maps. Although I’ve passed this restaurant by BuS in four years, I couldn’t find out it. This time was very lucky to find it. So, I booked our lunch in there and took my wife. We had a very good time and good foods in there. And all staff were very good. Am very much looking forward to visiting again soon. Thank you!

Fantastic food and experience. Excellent views of the castle and surrounding areas. Booked a table for 8 people and were promptly seated after arriving. Had an unusual prawns and seafood on crumpet starter that was exceptional. Burger for main followed by tiramisu which were both tremendous. This would be a fantastic place for new years eve to watch the castle fireworks.

Booked a table for 19 including 4 children undet 10 to celebrate with family my 70th. The table location was perfectly located at the end of the restaurant adjacent to the bar. The Skyline waitresses and Head Waiter went above and beyond providing excellent service both with drinks and food. The food was delicious and well presented and everyone commented how much they enjoyed it. Thank you to the Skyline team for making my birthday celebration memorable. Well done.
It's lovely place. We celebrated our anniversary here, the food was so fresh and tasty, staff very kind and friendly. We asked to take our photo, because of the anniversary, after then they brought us a delicious dessert as a compliment. So kind of them 😊 I definitely advise to visit this place.
A pleasant venue with very attentive and efficient staff. Cannot fault the service at all. The standard of food varied between the dishes - for example, the chicken roulade was very dry whereas the lamb was tender and delicious. They have a great cocktail menu and wine list, and the prices overall (for both food and drink) are quite fair & reasonable. The view is a bit of a disappointment for a venue called "Skyline" - in the evening you can't see anything at all (no perspective over the city lights or anything like that), and during the day all you see are the tops of tenement buildings. I couldn't see any other city landmarks, but that may have been partly due to the location of our table. I would return here in future but probably only with a large group, as the resturant seems particularly well set-up for bigger tables and larger groups of people.
Fantastic meal as usual today 27/8/2023, such a great atmosphere at very reasonable prices and the gin was lovely to! - oh a special thanks to Jackie and her team of staff she was so helpful and professional …. We will be back again for sure 5*
Was at the skyline for the hearts v paok game couldn't get a ticket for the stand what an experience from start to finish cocktail drinks food and the staff were first class met garry locke niel mcann and Ian Black and Craig Gordon 😀 well worth the money sat with 2 guys from Essex they were very impressed they love edinburgh and are now jambo 1st class

We celebrated our son's 33rd birthday in the Skyline restaurant yesterday. He lives in Budapest and we were looking for something a bit special and different to go. What an excellent choice. Very good food, nicely presented by lovely staff who couldn't do enough for us. What a pleasure. Well done Hearts - that's a winning formula.
