Been wanting to try out meltmongers for ages and finally managed to visit today. Was well worth the wait, had the Chilli Cheese toastie and it was a delight. Sitting in and take away available. Look forward to the next visit when I'm through in Edinburgh.

I could finish this review by just saying these are the best cheese toasties you will ever have but that seems to undersell how awesome the food available here is.
For a truly gourmet grilled cheese experience come along and choose from one of the many different varieties of cheese toasties, which they call Melts.
Melts include fairly basic Cheese to Tuna through to Ham and Egg and even burger themed Melts. For the sweet tooth there is a Nutella and Banana Melt.
Prices are more than reasonable for a large grilled cheese experience and a Melt by itself makes a decent lunch. For those with a large appetite there are also sides available including amazing chips. Top tip, don’t miss out on the cheese sauce.
