Came here for lunch because it was recommended to us but was turned away because they had a small private party there but the party only took up maybe about 4 -5 tables in the very small section in the back even though the rest of the restaurant was completely empty. Went for afternoon tea with my daughter inlaw. It was lovely ,gave 4 stars for service as although the tea was served quickly, it took longer to be able to order additional drinks and had to look for someone to enable us to pay the bill, however this may have been as the restaurant side was busy wit

Had a lovely afternoon tea and drinks at Scotts in the Mercure Hotel Princes Street. Staff were so professional and friendly they created a great experience. Dietary needs catered for with no fuss and the bubbly was brilliant. Highly recommend the view, the calm ambience and the experience. Will

Stopped off here 4 lunch when out shopping ... We just had soup & sandwich which was lovely and very reasonably priced.. Also catered for my gluten free lunch which was fab.. Defo would go back
Great views of the busy city of Edinburgh, lovely service and great food! I had fish and chips, but will definitely be back for some afternoon tea. The cakes look just too good :)
