Lived near Hunters Tryst pub/restaurant for so long and only went recently....so glad I did though :o)

From outside it looks tiny but actually the space inside is huge with plenty of seats to choose from. We went on Wednesday so was able to get the weekly deal of 2 course meal for only £6.95. Me and my friend both ordered a veggie toad in the hole with a brownie dessert. Unfortunately the peas were still hard....was very gutted since i love peas!

I still recommend you all try it out. The prices are very decent with a variety of options and deals. I only live 10 minutes away so i will be popping back again :o)

Just moved to Fairmilehead and went here for some grub with friends. Nice quiet place, friendly staff and nice food. Prices are good and portions were excellent. Decent rum cocktails too!

I went here for dinner and there was a sign on the door stating due to staff shortages and training, the kitchen wouldn't be open until 16:30 which was fine. I arrived and enquired about having food and was advised that they were running a smaller menu due to staff shortages. I noticed they didn't have a good selection for vegetarians on the dishes they had selected from the normal menu. I had a steak with peppercorn sauce. It was delicious and well cooked. The cut wasn't stated in the menu but it was a sirloin. I was able to order from the table through the QR code to get the website. Good experience.

First time trying it as a coeliac and I had the most pleasant experience and the meal was fantastic, no reaction so all good. I had gluten free bbq chicken and chips and my husband had regular fish and chips both meals were fantastic. Lunch time special.

We were made feel very welcome here. We popped in for a drink after a very long walk. Staff are very pleasant and welcoming. Male member came over to ask us if we would like water for our dog. He sat beside her and clapped her, asked us where we had walked. We just had snacks chips and onion rings. Everything was lovely. Toilets are clean . This is our 3rd visit here and will definitely be back. Thanks Guys

Fabulous meal this evening, ordered the sirloin steak and southern fried chicken burger. Food was fresh and tasty. Service was friendly and well managed. Trevor went above and beyond when I had accidentally been given regular chips instead of the sweet potato ones I'd ordered (a very minor over site in my opinion). Will definitely be back sooner rather than later, well done guys.

Having not visited since pre COVID, and having tried once earlier this year only to find the place closed, we were pleasantly surprised with the meal we enjoyed. There was a limited menu due to kitchen staff shortages, but despite this the meal we both had ( one vegan) was very good. Prices are good too. We won't leave it for so long until we return.

Love this place. Unfortunately the food has went right downhill due to staff shortages/changes. The staff were quick to apologize & refunded us. Lovely staff. Lovely atmosphere 👌
