The food was soooo good!!! I am from the United States and have had my fair share of noodles, but this is by far the best noodles I have ever had!! I highly recommend!!
Delicious high quality thai food. I always have tom yum soup and pad thai. The pad thai is always delicious and i had it with prawns yesterday.
Food was very fresh, so did have to wait a while, but worth it. Defo go again.�
Visited Noodle 'n' Ice during the Festival and was impressed by the standard of the food and the friendliness of the staff. Will definitely be back! The pad thai was lovely and the prices are really good. :)
Went for dinner and had vegetables tofu rice noodles, and it was fabulous. Moreover when in Edinburgh don't miss the Irn Bru. Loved the place and the ambience too. Right in the centre of the old city.

I think the portion are too much, maybe you can consider to give smaller portion choice for each menu provided.
Went here for lunch and ordered Chicken Pad Thai. The staffs are nice, the place is spacious. The taste of Pad Thai is a bit different from the original Thai Cuisine, but still delicious and the portion is humongous :)
The food is awesome and the staff very hospitable. The restaurant is cosy. One of the better Thai restaurants that we have experienced since a long time.
We wanted a change on our palette so decided to try the concept. The staff were very polite and accommodating for families with children. The decor was simple with table rows and benches. The up stair dining area was decent too.
Ordered for the Green curry with prawns, Red curry with chicken, Singapore noodles, Kro pad kai and jasmine rice. The food was flavorful and fresh. Overall a good dining experience.

Went late last night and was lucky still open. The server was professional and nice. The chicken wings were ok however for £6 there were five pieces and small. Not quality wings either. The sauce was nice but lots of chunks of green peppers weren’t necessary. I ordered pad Thai with chicken. It was decent again way too many green peppers. It was a good portion. Location is right off royal mile and it was good enough.
I came in on a Friday evening for a quiet dinner and found a table quite easily since it wasn’t busy. I was skeptical because of the rating, but in my experience it seems quite unfair.
Lots of vegetarian options on the menu! I ordered the veg pad thai - the portion size is generous and the flavour is fantastic. Extra credit for serving red chilli flakes on the side so you can moderate how spicy you want your pad thai to be.
The service was attentive.
10/10 recommend. Went Christmas Day, and as it was a holiday you needed a reservation. Walked in, came back an hour later and got served. The staff were very nice, didn't make me feel rushed as a solo traveler wanting a good, hearty meal to dine on. Ordered the green curry-very good, and also the papaya salad. If I were to be in the area again they would definitely get my business again.
I love Thai food and this place in Edinburgh serves one of the best Thai food. Starting from spring rolls followed by vegetable Raman, veg pad Thai noodles and my favourite veg Thai green curry. Staff is also very nice. A must visit place for Thai food lovers.
Great experience at Noodle ‘n’ Rice. Central location just off the royal mile, this place is great! We returned twice during our stay in Edinburgh. The portions are great, the food is tasty and all at a reasonable price! Lovely staff, super friendly! Would recommend…

Came from Spain to visit Edinburgh visited a tai restaurant called noddles &rice .. very lovely place the food was great I had pad tai chicken .. very tasty n good.. they staffs were good n very attentive.. will definitely recommend anybody to go there
Green Thai curry was very authentic but chilly. The chowmin wasn't what we expected. Staff could be more polite.
We had dinner this place two times in the last two days. Staff friendly and helpful. Food excellent, best dinner we had over a number of stays elsewhere, very good choice, very well presented. Highly recommended.
The food was really good for the price and quickly prepared. The choice of music via YouTube was sometimes a bit questionable, but we thoroughly enjoyed the throwbacks. I would definitely recommend it for a quick bite that's healthier than a snack bar.
This very good Thai restaurant was a good choice I went for the chicken katsu with jasmine rice and my wife chose the sweet and sour chicken also with jasmine rice, both cooked to perfection and very tasty. 👌 Our waitress greeted and served us quickly and efficiently. The actual restaurant would benefit with some updating to give a better atmosphere.. but well done to chef and staff 😋
