Ichiban - Edinburgh - Photo album

Very welcoming family run restaurant. Menu has a good variety and choice. The service is so good and friendly, we have been a few times and we always get recognised. Nice casual atmosphere, very reasonably priced. A family favourite.
We came for a late dinner around 2230 and were blown away by the welcoming nature of all the staff. The food was incredible and came out quickly. I highly recommend Ichiban and would have to say it was our best decision and favorite meal while in Scotland.
So happy to find this little gem, everything we ordered was so good! The rice rolls deserve a shoutout and paired well with their homemade chilli oil! Service was fantastic and the owner was so helpful and lovely, definitely will be returning
Although the shop name is Japanese, it serves Japanese food, but there are also canton food, e.g rice roll (Choeng fun), it is the best I tasted for a while in Edinburgh. It is made by the owner, very ‘smooth’ and just good, I couldn’t make it myself. Other food are also good, prices are reasonable.
Ate here a couple weeks ago with my partner and a friend as a late night decision for dinner and as always the food was beautiful 😋🤤 Owner was very lovely and welcoming. Everything is home made, freshly prepared. Overal; Bellies were filled and happy 😋 We would defo be eating here again! 🥰💛
Spicy beef noodles was highly recommended! When I was starving , I found this store. Generally, 3pm is not service time, but the staff provided warm service and recommended spicy beef noodles that based on my needs. These noodles were a nice chewy texture. It was delicious!
Super precious gem of a place to eat. Such nice people working there who go over and above. Amazing unique Vegan Options
Casual family run local restaurant with absolutely lovely staff! We had cheung fun for the first time after being offered the dish to try free of charge, couldn’t recommend more, it was delicious. Always made to feel very welcome with superb service
Felt like being invited to someone's home. Real good food you are charged double elsewhere. Best service experience during my Edinburgh stay.
