Very pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Fine food, well prepared and presented, but it was not my favourite.
Visited for lunch on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised, as French is not my first choice, of the quality of food - had the Ham hock terrine with red onion confit & mixed leaves for a starter and it was excellent as was the main course of L'estouffade of beef cheek with boulangère potatoes with
A charming bistro in the heart of Leith with warm, relaxed friendly service. Very reasonably priced at 2 courses for £21 or 3 for £26 this is classic provencale food impeccably executed. From a traditional fish soup with rouille that sang with flavour via roasted rabbit that was moist and tender to
Quiet November evening but service great and food superb. Lovely stuffed guinea fowl but all food well cooked and presented. Unfussy, substantial, delicious food.
Quality of the food was excellent. Staff very attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and would visit again. A great find.
Eaten here a number of times and return visits probably says it all. Great food and staff. Thoroughly recommended.
Brilliant for a friendly, relaxed afternoon meal that was extremely well priced.
Best French restaurant ever
Great food
