Love it. Although, as with all breakfast places in the UK, stop wasting valuable plate space with a grilled tomato! To be fair, they'll swap it for something desirable like an extra sausage :-p
I'm a regular visitor here.
Good food, good coffee, good people. Not fancy but very satisfying.
Superb! Staff great, food great, prices great... Lucky to get a seat here! Thoroughly recommend it and will definitely be back!
Love the food, nothing fancy just exactly what you need, at great prices ....and the staff are always so friendly.
All day breakfast and a tea for under a fiver. A thoroughly decent feed, in a busy place full of atmosphere. A proper good caff, I'll be coming here again!
Wonderful little cafe off the beaten track. Great breakfast and staff were lovely
Great breakfasts, fab takeaway rolls, cheap and cheerful. Am here on a regular basis!
look we freaking love Snax but seriously what is UP with the frisbee deal? today in a state of squalor and hangover-related sloth, we ordered snax delivery (cheers for the speed and walking up all the stairs) and my pal got the chicky nuggies kids meal because it said it came with a frisbee? 'snax frisbee'.. is it an actual frisbee? or just a myth? It was also spelt 'frizbee' on the website so is it not really a frisbee? either way it didnt come with our delivery so said pal ended up with a few mere chicky nuggies and no Snax branded Frizbee to show for. pls explain.

Good proper fry up. Can not fault this place, those that do need there head looking at. For those complaining about delivery, get you're lazy arse out of bed
Amazing food (sandwich, burgers, panini...), friendly staff and best price in city centre!
We found this by reading good reviews. And noted that it was reasonably priced and not expensive. I got the baguette with bacon, egg, and sausage, my wife got the Big Breakfast, and we shared a pot of tea for two. The service was excellent and the food was marvelously delicious. The cozy environment was understandably busy but certainly not chaotic. Highly recommend breakfast here.
Hangovers are cured with food from this place. The doublers (£3.60) and triplers (£4.50) are great value for money with so many options to choose from for your breakfast buns. Staff were super friendly and the portion sizes are very generous. Incredibly good value for money - wished I was in Edinburgh for longer to try out their full english! We took our food to sit on the meadows as it was very hot and stuffy inside. They have outside seating too which is a good alternative. Been raving about this place ever since I went.
I have passed this place many times and I have never gone in but I was very impressed.
The food was high quality, but simple, which is what I want from a breakfast spot. The prices were ridiculously reasonable, and there were many options for the size of your breakfast; I came with my boyfriend and got the all day veggie, which was great for brunch for me, and he got the ‘biggest veggie’ at a marginally higher price and was more suitable to his needs. The hash browns were crispy and the eggs were perfectly done. My boyfriend is Scottish and he rated the veggie sausages, the haggis and the tattie scones!
The staff were really nice while still being efficient. We came on a sunday morning and managed to get a lovely spot by the window, which despite being busy, still felt like it was private and we were able to enjoy our food.
The only complaint would perhaps be that I wish there was the option to get filter coffee as only americanos feels slightly fussy and the coffee could be a bit better. Such a minor note though!
Go here!!!
such a quick and nice service, cheap prices and great vibes inside. vegan breakfast is excellent - filling but not overfilling
Excellent little cafe if you want food without the nonsense that adds a tenner to the price of everything. We had a brunch and breakfast wrap. All cooked well and quickly arrived. Chap on the counter very happy and helpful. My friend also wishes the mention the chocolate with cream was deliciously rich. Will come again.
Great spot for a cheap breakfast or lunch. Great value, no frills but decent food. Always busy but easily to get a table and friendly staff. Hash brown bites were 👌🏻
One of the best Cafes in Edinburgh. Huge menu, great breakfast ( choice of 5 depending on how hungry you are) plenty tables, can get very busy at times but usually fast turnaround.
Highly recommended.
Prices were super affordable and the menu has different options. I had a tuna wrap. I would recommend this place for brunch. The men toilets were supper dirty tho.
Great veggie breakfast.
Should have 5 stars but the location was messy so took it down to 4 stars.
Good, simple, tasty greasy spoon! Nothing to complain about, definitely hit the spot without trying to be hipster
Very good breakfast! Fair pricing and a large plate, more than enough even if you are very hungry
Kells and Dalry Primary Schools, Dumfries and Galloway were on a 3 day trip to Edinburgh, staying in the Pollock Halls, 24 P6/7 children and 4 staff. Steph and her staff at Snax went out of their way to provide us with Burgers / Cheeseburgers with bacon for our group. After their normal closing time, Steph and her staff cooked and delivered our food! Delicious and good quality burgers and super service! Thank you very much!
Nice place to have breakfast near the University of Edinburgh. Good amount of options for full breakfast, wraps and hot and cold drinks.
If you're looking for a well-priced, no-frills, proper Scottish breakfast, then this is the place to get it. The food is delicious and the service is swift. Moreover it's positioned nicely next to the park.
Good place for cheap and big eats, known for their breakfast options.
Love the food! Delicious warm fat and carbs right on your plate. Numerous veggie options. Really good pricing!
