I had the pleasure of recently ordering Nachos at Jeanie Deans. It was surprisingly cheap and TASTY. Would recommend.

This is my local & I just been in to see the comic wall & try their stromboli. Food was great & so is the wall. Brilliant place - good food, booze & touch of geek. What's not to love!!

Fantastic wee place with good music. They serve sausage rolls from the local butchers - great with a pint!

Great wee pub not far from Holyrood Park and Pleasance. Good selection of beers, you'd struggle to pay less for a pint in central Edinburgh.

Went there last night for the first time and were not disappointed! We've been very intrigued by this wee pub ever since we moved to Edinburgh last September. The owner Ian was extremely friendly, as were the locals drinking at the bar. The pub has a great selection of beers..not just the standard ones you'd expect from a small pub. And the prices are great! We will be back

Nice easy pub 😀 I had liked for a late beer, although just aside main road and the only pub around for some 100 meters. Heating on, which was also nice. Has a seating "The Snug" just behind street front windows.

Amazing little back street pub. Decor is amazing, moden and welcoming. Prices are incredale, £2 for a vodka mixer! Bar staff are more than helpful and friendly. This is now my new regular, all of my friends love it just as much as me.

Well impressed, such a friendly bar. Prices were very reasonable. Although it doesn't look much it is well worth a visit. We only popped in for a couple before a tour. Extra little touches impressed me no end. Deodorant, plasters etc in the ladies! Would have liked to stayed longer. Thank you 😁

After a few days in the Highlands it was fine to find this little pub with very friendly people. Unfortunately we had only 1/2 an hour to spend there. If you are in Edinburgh and you will have some drinks in the evening, this is the right place.

I really like this little pub. I used to live nearby and went often, it's smarter looking nowadays, but 28 years later it's still a friendly local bar with a good choice of whiskies. Maybe I will be back before 28 more years go by.

A wee Scottish bar which is as advertised. Good beer, friendly staff. Handy for an inexpensive beer if you're on your way past after overpaying at a fringe venue. Or any other time as well. Live music on occasion.

Recently reopened. Friendly bar staff and proprietor. Good range of sport with BT. Has a dart board and is due to have quiz nights etc. It also has a snug that is due to be reopened soon. Everything you want from an old pub with history.

Moved away from the area at the end of the summer and miss having this as my local! Best Pizza Nachos ever and the new Hollyrood Gins are lush! Will be back for a visit at Christmas!
