Wow this has to be one of my favourite restaurants now. The food was delicious, service was great and it's bring your own booze or a fantastic selection of mocktails. I was spoiled with choice with the large array of vegetarian options. Recommend getting the bottle of water because it's spicy.

Lovely Decor. Lovely food. We were super hungry and was really happy with taste and quality of food. The staff is very humble. The curry was tasty and started chicken was nice and juicy. Not very far from centre. A true gem

The food here is just fine. Tandoori chicken tasted really good, the lamb we didn’t like much, as well as portion was extremely small. Sorry for picture, mixed the food before photograph it.

We had a booking, for 17:30,as were going to see a show,so restaurant was quiet. Food, was very tasty,if not a bit pricey,as each part of a meal, charged separately. Asked twice for water & it still hadn't come,by the end of the meal. We did get glasses & is good, that you can BYOB. One main meal, that we had ordered, was wrong. Had started to eat it & they did offer to change it,but declined. Waiters, need to pay more attention,to orders.

What a beautiful restaurant; great memories. The lunch deals were so good and I loved all the decorations and all the old maps of India. So awesome. I'm glad we came here for lunch after our visit to the Omni.

Nice ambiance, cozy seating in three sections, attentive staff, fast service and genuine Indian dishes with great taste. This sums up our impression of this very good restaurant that was next door to our hotel Holiday Inn express. We relished the samosa chaat( though it was very spicy, yet tasty), tandoor jumbo prawns, butter chicken with tandoor roti and drinks.

Really loved the food they served here. Lots of flavours en good quality food. Nice staff and a lovely neighborhood were the restaurant is located. Bit outside of the old town but worth the walk. Visited twice because it was that good.

Went here for lunch and probably had the best biryani in the area. Beautiful ambience, good quantity for the price and great taste. There was also quite a variety of vegetarian options which is not that common.

Amazing taste and brilliant location. This place is walking distance from central Edinburgh. The overlooking tables by the roadside are amazing on a bright sunny day. The food is amazing. The price may seem on the higher side but for the taste and the location it's well worth it. Overall a must try!

Great food, and service to match. Very well priced too. Will definitely be back in future. It’s worth noting it doesn’t serve alcohol but you can take your own Alcohol without a cork charge. The salmon starter was sublime and the Lamb Karahi was just as good too.

Ordered on Deliveroo yesterday, already left a review there and thought should let more people know how amazing the food is here! The portions are very generous, enjoying the leftovers for lunch today!! One of the best Indian food experiences (and I majored in Oriental studies,so tried quite a few😀)

This is a very nice place for Indian food on foreign shores. Service is good with pleasant people like Purushottam Saville Darell and Suraj making you feel comfortable. The food is good on the palate and we liked it especially because our 7 year old son loved the food and enjoyed it.

We ate lunch here recently. The food was really tasty and they had gluten and dairy options. The staff were friendly but service was very slow. However, we would go back and we noticed later you can request a “curry in a hurry” if you need to get to a show, so we would do that.

Food is generally very good. Garlic naan was freshly made. Overall, a good meal at a reasonable price point. Good place for a casual Indian meal.

This is absolutely the most delicious Indian restaurant in Edinburgh! Well done guys! The taste of Hyderabadi restaurants right here in the UK. From starters to desserts, 5 stars. Serviced by Darwen 👍🏻
