Expected standard of service so no faults there. Also looked after my scarf for 24 hours after I had forgotten to lift it when leaving but got it back the next day with no hassle.

Always love a starbucks but this ones a keeper, the staff are great and it's easy to be a local as they seem to have stayed the same for a while. I work here often and it's got great views and is snug, right in the heart of stocky-b

The staff are not very welcoming, and the cafe and some of its seating is showing its age. However it is in a nice location, it's quiet and peaceful the times I have been there, and overall I like the branch.

Have been a customer for a number of years and not once had a bad experience. Best coffee shop in Edinburgh by some way. Special mention to Sarah, Kennedy and Eilidh - excellent customer service!

Very friendly staff, prime location and loads of place to sit, it is always very calm and relaxing, one of my favourite places to drink a coffee and read a good book

ONLY. COFFEE. SHOP. IN. EDINBURGH. OPEN. BEFORE. 7AM! AND THEY HAVE PIKES PLACE. And they don't make you feel bad or try to shoo you out the door for wanting to sit and do some work on your computer for more than an hour (like a lot of coffee shops in Edinburgh)

Absolutely spectacular service provided at this Starbucks in particular. Was served by a lovely woman who greeted us at the door with a smile and made sure we got what we wanted. For that reason I will 100% be returning to this Starbucks!

Typical coffee shop. Overly priced coffee. Like all coffee chains, the regular customer is subsidising students on computers, buying one cup per day!!

A now regular favourite of mine. Great staff, good quality starbucks. Can be a little busy during lunch times. Recommend you use the app and register your purchases. I found out today that after 50 you become a gold member (which I am) and can get free extras, like vanilla, syrups, etc. This just made my day. Will try some extras next time!

Get you a little taste of home, fellow Americans. But really, good big windows at the downstairs sitting area. Very relaxing.

This is a great, cosy Starbucks location that is perfect for weekend relaxing in the large leather sofas that engulf you. The large windows are also great, especially upstairs overlooking the Stockbridge Sunday Market. On the ground floor the space is small but efficient with the counters and a small area with high stool seating by the windows. The menu is of course the same reliable menu, too. I like this location a lot.

My favourite Starbucks in town so far - cosy top floor with lots of daylight where you can sit with your laptop without being distracted by people coming and going (entrance is on the ground floor). Peaceful atmosphere, not too busy. You don't need a key to use the toilets like some of the other Starbucks.

This is the best Starbucks in Edinburgh. It's warm and has a great mix of people. Staff are helpful and kind. It also allows well behaved dogs in and this just gives it a special feel.

Busy Starbucks as it is the only one in the area - but it's a good one! Layout is straightforward - you might have some queues going into the street in exceptional cases (e.g. Sunday morning market) but otherwise it is a very decent place. Basically your typical Starbucks round the corner!
