Great place to play games with other people who are all friendly and enthusiastic. Massive selection, in the games room. Food and drink too. Good choice of miniatures and hobby equipment as well as games to buy.
Friendly welcoming shop and gaming space.
I've used the space for dozens of events in the last year and they've always been accommodating.
Welcoming atmosphere, great food and great games. The innovator of the games cafe in Edinburgh is still the best!
Enjoyed a number of gaming events here. Extensive selection of games downstairs to play and good value for money. Would recommend.
Awesome place to hang out and play games, great food, awesome coffee and awesome games to play.
A nice place to chill and relax with like minded people. Staff a friendly and regulars are very welcoming.
Excellent selection of games downstairs and lots of tables to play on. Very reasonably priced and very friendly. Will definitely return
My son was made to feel very welcome. Had a good coffee, cake and chips. Very well priced and relaxed. Lots of board games to choose from and no rush. A great Autism friendly enviroment. Will be back.

Friendly and welcoming store I have had the pleasure of attending and running multiple events at. The products are always well prices and I have discovered a great amount of new games here between the stores game collection and all the product they have for sale (which I have spent plenty money on!)
Great place to play games, have great food and chat with friends.
Friendly staff too!
A great place for gamers to hang out and game, I wish there had been such a place near me when I was getting into gaming 20 years ago, kudos Shaz ! :)
Finally a games shop in Edinburgh with a good selection available looking forward to seeing this shop grow Great job and good luck.
great place to relax and catch a game or just have some food and chat to the guys, always warm and friendly staff and regulars.
Nice place with a lovely lady who runs everything. 🙂 (Never really interact with the owner as he mostly plays games upstairs)

The owner is also lovely 🙂
Fantastic selection of board games! Friendly environment, great food, very affordable and highly recommend!
Looking to play some tabletop games whilst visiting the city? Check out Games Hub!
On a recent visit to Auld Reekie my brother and I decided to check out the local tabletop gaming scene, and so came across Games Hub. The frontage is quite small given they’re on a corner plot, but they make quite efficient use of the awkward space inside.
The first section of the shop is a small cafe/retail area, offering a selection of snacks and accessories for popular card and miniature games. The majority of the rest of the building is given over to gaming space, including the vast basement space which features hundreds of board games to play!
Staff are friendly and helpful, making the visit enjoyable throughout. A great addition to the city, we look forward to visiting again when in Edinburgh next.
Fantastic little games cafe with a surprisingly sizeable basement and so many board games to choose from. Has great coffee and does wonderful food from meals and soups to great cakes and all at a great price
Absolutely charming place to play some Boardgames. Wide assortment of options with very friendly and knowledgeable staff to provide recommendations. If you're looking for a nice way to spend the evening, this is the place to go!
Two level store with food on main and a large board game selection on the basement
Great place to play games. It did get a little loud but I'd attribute that to the fact that it was full (which is great to see)
They have food which I have heard is very good. As well as a discord server to make bookings.
Will be coming back to fulfill all my board gaming needs!
Great gaming spot in the centre of Edinburgh. Wide range of game systems and products as well as an excellent selection of RPG resources. Huge board game library available for anyone booking a table. Would also recommend the awesome selection of cakes and treats in the cafe!
Nice place to play board games and tabletop games for a small fee. Good selection of games and the food is also pretty good. Burgers wete tasty and a reasonable price. You can also buy board games, Warhammer paints and some models at a similar price (and sometimes cheaper) than big stores. You probably need to book a table at weekend afternoons to avoid diappointment.
Nice location and staff are pleasant. The main lobby/cafe area is light but could do with a tidy and fresh air to get rid of the fryer smell. I think a rearrange, paint and good scrub would do it the world of good.
Great selection of games and there is even a special room away from prying eyes and interruptions. Large selection of Citadel paints too which is useful. Not sure if you can sit in and paint though.
Wonderful place to go. An excellent, eclectic mix of games. Helpful, interested staff who are more than happy to offer recommendations. Good food and drink on offer at very reasonable prices. Just wish I could visit more often, but certainly top of my list for things to do when the kids are elsewhere!
Great having a venue like this on your door step. Friendly staff with a nice cafe and a small but decent selection of games in the shop. Downstairs is where the real magic happens with a mammoth amount of board games to choose from. Nice and friendly atmosphere!
Great place to play board games, tabletop games or trading card games. Friendly staff, great atmosphere and you can get food and drink too. Highly recommended!
I mostly come here to play boardgames. They have a great selection of games, and they are easy to find since they are alphabetised. The playing area is big, but not well ventilated so it can get a bit smelly sometimes. There's no staff on hand to help explain you the rules so either know the game you want to play or be prepared to learn yourself. I've had the food a couple of times and it is quite good for the establishment.
Great place to hang out with friends and play boardgames or tabletop games. There's a great library of games to borrow, plenty of space and friendly staff. Food is good and very reasonable and there's even a small shop for games if you fancy picking something new up.
Great place to try new boardgames before you buy. Very reasonable prices on new games, and very good priced food and drinks. £2.50 to play from opening til close is great! Lots of room for many people to play. Shame I don't live here so I can't be a regular.
For me it's not the cafe or the selection of games that sets this place apart. Instead it's the gaming save downstairs and the large free to play selection that they have down in the basement that's the cherry on top of the cake. However, I'd say that it you're looking for Magic The Gathering cards then you'd be best played going somewhere else.
Fantastic place to meet fellow gamers if you're not a member of South East Scotland War games Club. Table hire is reasonable and the food, while limited is tasty. Nice staff and friendly atmosphere every time I go.
