Phenomenal place - taqueria with a twist, genuine unique recipes and the best service going.
Came here for a Monday night dinner. Food was lovely - highly recommend the prawn tacos and the home made salsa was great. Fantastic, properly friendly service. We were the last ones there and the waiter still had a chat with us after we were done, though I'm sure he wanted to get home. Decor and small size of the place are really appealing. Will definitely recommend to our friends.
This was our first time dining at Bodega. Chris - the front of house guy was excellent. The food was absolutely first class (Thanks to the chef Nathan) I would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody. This is a small restaurant and the atmosphere was noisy and fun.Great to be able to bring your own drink as well. Well done guys - we had a great night!
We were here last night for a friends birthday. Everything was 5� The restaurant, the service and most importantly the food. Best taco's and churro's in town by a mile. Would definitely recommend! Thank you.
The tacos are always fantastic, fresh and with innovative ingredient selections and combinations. The guacamole tastes like incredibly fresh avocados which have just be punched together with seasoning and coriander - amazing. They had a red mullet taco special, the mullet was chargrilled which gave it an almost sweet, charred taste yet flakey texture with creamy jeruselum artichoke and meaty chestnut mushrooms. Divine. To top it off our server was fab and up for a laugh, go as soon as you get the chance!
Unquestionably 5 stars...the service is genuinely friendly & relaxed, and the food is simply wonderful. Every time I've been here the tacos have all been delicious, and if you don't try the guacamole you're a fool!
Really good value (not to mention the handy BYOB!) just be sure to book in advance because it's no longer a "hidden gem".

Great little place with delicious tacos and sauces, we went there as a larger group and the service was quick and fun! We dont get to go out often as a team, but Bodega made it special and exceeded our expectations, Highly recommended!

This was our first time in Bodega but will repeat! I cannot take out of my mind those sweet and crunchy chicken wings and the tempura prawn tacos, so so tasty. I was not a massive fan of the buffalo chicken sesame tacos as the sauce was bitter, but the beef BBQ were also nice. We had churros for dessert, the portion was tight for sharing, but still tasty.
Excellent variety of tacos and sides, we ordered planty to share and everything tasty, fish tacos in particular. Reasonable price and very friendly service.
The majority of menu is gluten-free. Staff very clued up on cross contamination. I'm coeliac, great to be able to share food with everyone.
We tasted 4 different tacos and they were excellent. Surprising combinations that we really enjoyed. It did take a long time for the tacos to come, but they communicated that it would take a bit longer than expected shortly after we were seated and offered a starter on the house to compensate for the wait. The waiters were very kind and the atmosphere is buzzing!
Book ahead as this place is often busy, and for good reason. It’s stylish and offers great tacos, plus a cocktail menu including flavoured and frozen margaritas.
The black bean dip as a starter was yummy and we enjoyed all the tacos we selected. Choices included a mix of traditional Mexican and more unusual combos, like a special which had kimchi and yuzu.
We’ve eaten here as a group and as pairs and it works well for both, though I’d say I enjoyed it more as a smaller group so everyone could share plates, which Bodega lends itself well to. Would be a good spot for a date night or special occasion as it feels less informal than most other restaurants in the area.
food = WOW!! Amazing food, definitely want to go back. Fish tacos and ginger and lime cheesecake were the stars of the show. Only dislike is how small the margaritas - think they are far too expensive for what you get, and had better margaritas elsewhere.
Food was absolutely brilliant, we had 3 sets of tacos and two sides between two. Highly recommend the beef tacos and the tempura scallions! The mezcal margarita was incredible.
Service was very friendly but I would recommend replacing the small round tables for the similar 2 seat square tables as we asked for side plates as we were sharing and were told no as our table was too small.
Fantastic tacos! I've been dying to eat here for so long and it certainly lived up to the expectation. Staff were friendly and food was swift. Would definitely recommend booking a table as even at opening time, the restaurant was packed. There are still screens between the tables, which was great given how many tables there were in the wee restaurant.
Every dish was delightful (except the ceviche which I don’t enjoy in general)
guacamole was very creamy, suppose they don’t spare the avocado. the portion of taco is small so it is recommended that one person order two dishes! (at least) the toppings on taco seemed like a new combination of tastes and I liked it very much.
This place is fantastic, the wings for starters are epic. Order all the tacos. Drinks menus is great too. Highly highly recommend
