Pleasant coffee break! Bar/lounge was comfy, staff were friendly and accommodating. Great dog friendly space to have a drink.

It's a good place to meet up with a group of walkers. On the day, it was subject to a fridge failure and sub optimal coffee flavour but still good.

A really nice place for a casual lunch or coffee. Only minor complaint is that the coffee machine takes so long to make one coffee that you end up in a queue.

Excellent venue for hiring out for an occasion. I've been several time for charity events and it has a great bar and staff who make it very welcoming. They have a little kitchen at the end of the room which good for providing food. Only downside was the toilets which could do with some maintainence, they are looking rather run down at the moment. Overall, would really recommend this as a facility if you are looking for somewhere decent to hire for a medium sized private function.

Christmas lunch for group of 20 on five tables of four so safe distancing. Food from McKenzies Catering very good and reasonably priced.

2019 had a couple of sausage rolls and a coffee on my way into Edinburgh on a long walk north. Got some phone charge and some calories and a good rest on the way into the city.

Nice polite staff, good prices, but could maybe do with longer opening hours in the evening in summer time.
