Green Gourmet Giraffe
+3.5
On our last visit to Edinburgh, one of the places where I didn't get time to eat with the National Museum of Scotland. This time we ate there twice. Sylvia dragged me back because she was besotted with the kid's boxes where she could choose a few small things for her lunch. I was quite happy to go along because the view is magnificent and the food was lovely.
This place is inside the museum and it is quite nice. The menu has sandwiches, hot and cold drinks and a lot of different snacks. The price is expensive.
Great service on a busy Sunday
We had teenagers who needed to sit down and refuel. Even though they were very busy, it was a Sunday, service was quick and efficient, and done with a smile. No signs of stress due to the crowds at all. I had the ginger cake which was delicious. Norbert was particularly helpful when he could see we needed some help with the girls. Thank you for providing an oasis in a challenging day!
Great place to stop by during museum visit, get some refreshing drinks and tasty cakes. Also Crew is very nice. They provided me phone charger.
Lovely server, saw I’d not be able to carry my tea cup/pot and cake back to my table and just brought it for me.
Its not a table service and they were very busy - I didn’t have to ask for help they just did it without fuss.
Thanks
Great spot to rest up after walking around the museum. Can get busy on the weekends, but the location especially is great - looking over the main hall.
Busy place but amazing service, delicious cakes and coffees.
Love the setting and the coffee was fantastic!
Cakes here are nice and the wifi is strong if you want to study or work here
