Cute Spanish wine bar in the main Royal mile. Amazing tapas and delicious food. Service very nice and our Spanish waitress gave us very good recommendations. Highly recommend and definitely we will back to have another experience in this outstanding place.

Booked a last minute table at the bar on a Friday evening. Piggs has been on my list to try for a while and did not disappoint. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. We ordered a mix of tapas and wine to share. The specials were amazing. We finished the evening with a few cocktails and enjoyed the atmosphere. As we booked last minute we got the bar stools but when we visit next i would book in advance to get one of the tables! Thanks again!

Booked here on a recommendation for a birthday lunch. We were not disappointed. The food was incredible, the olives and jamon being especially nice (but everything was top notch) Staff were helpful and attentive without being intrusive. There was a nice selection of wines and beers and we absolutely will be back. It's a small place so try and reserve if you can. It's really worth it. Fantastic place. If you like coffee, and booze and have a sweet tooth - Order the barrequito coffee (see photo) it's a really lovely drink.

I mean, the food is okay, and not bad at all to be in Edinburgh, but it is not a proper Spanish restaurant for me. Padrón peppers didn’t taste like it, and the Pulpo was tiny (more potato than anything) but again, you have to consider that you are not in Spain. The service was great and quick, and the waiters were really friendly. I think it will be perfect for someone that is not Spanish, but for someone that knows Spanish food… it’s okay. The churros were great tho, and it was proper chocolate that came with it.

Had such a lovely birthday meal here, the food was delicious, recommendations were amazing and the staff were all absolutely lovely with a great bit of banter! Thanks to the gal that took our order and recommended some great dishes (sorry I can’t remember your name) and to James sorting us out with a little birthday treat at the end!

Nice tapas bar. Good food, wine, and service. Does have timed tabletops, so keep that in mind if you are looking for a spot to settle in to for a while.

Best tapas in Edinburgh. Great wine to match. The pulpo is some of the best I’ve ever had.

Good tapas and wine choices and friendly and efficient service . It’s a small place and gets very busy so I recommend you book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Absolutely delicious meal. A wee gem of a place right there on the Royal Mile! We had the sharing charcuterie board, meatballs, patatas bravas, goats cheese, chorizo in cider and some sourdough bread. Everything was just fantastic.

Had a wonderful lunch here when visiting Edinburgh. The whole team were so friendly and took time to recommend dishes. The food was delicious and the atmosphere so welcoming - I’d have happily sat there all day and watched the world go by. I only remembered to take a photo when we were all finished… which I guess is a good review in itself!!
