Incredibly good coffee and breakfast, and equally incredibly good service! Very nice and warm atmosphere, kind and warm service / personel, and absolutely good prices! Furthermore, a discount for students! If You're in Edinburgh, and would like an exceptional breakfast (or just a cup of coffee, which You'll remember for quite a while), You MUST come here!

Fabulous vibe at cool T&S - doggie and family friendly. The only struggle is whether to choose savoury or sweet to eat...I can vouch for both! Coffee is really good and all within a quick walk to Harrison Park so was great to get a takeaway too and it still be piping hot by the time we hit the slides and swings. Definitely worth a visit.

This cafe is a real gem! The staff are really friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very charming and pleasant. The selection of hot and cold drinks is great. I love the "apple loves mint" tea. The teapot is huge! The food is also amazing. Freshly baked croissants and bagels are just yummy! Highly recommended! :D

I have to hold my hands up to knowing the owner Zoe but the following is hand-on-heart true. I could have chosen any number of furniture pieces and little bits for the house. Some gorgeous 'distressed' pieces. I love good coffee and this was one of the best I've tasted in Edinburgh. I stayed away from cake - no mean feat given how good it looked. The whole feel is high end and super cool.

Very nice sandwich with ciabatta bread grilled halloumi chili jam and mint with side of green salad and delicious coleslaw for £8.9 and strong and sweet Mumbai Railway Chai Latte for £3. Nice decor, option to sit in or outside. Although the road is a little busy at times.

Nice place for good & affordable breakfast, we paid around 18€ for two rolls (bacon and ham, salad & coleslaw) and two coffees. The coffee was okay (no hint of acidity though 😅), the bacon roll was delicious, the only issue I had was with some of the veggies in my ham roll being a bit too cold for my teeth but overall we were glad we went here and would happily come back again.

Fantastic coffee, lovely staff and a cool vibe, the toasted ciabatta was delicious but a bit oily and the bacon was too thin cut for the ratio of cheese and bread, despite that, a delicious start to the day and would certainly go back.

usually go there a cortado and a nice chocolate salt cookie with my daughter. Staff is always welcoming and the cafe itself as a nice homey atmosphere. also has a good outdoor space that can be covered when it rains( if not too windy).

Amazing small place that it is hard to buy pass. Extremely friendly people who will make you feel welcome almost immediately. Very good variety of snacks and meals. Also great variety of desserts and bakery goodies. Coffee was the only point that I could see space for improvements but let’s be fair, the place is named after tea not code. Definitely recommended!

Bacon rolls and coffee from this place is fabulous. They do great sandwiches too, with plenty of filling. They offer some bakery items too which are also of excellent quality. Their yummy, moist carrot cake is my fave. As for price, compared to some other places further into town, they are very fair, especially for the quality you get. In addition to the good food with very generous portions, the staff always have some chat and are really chill, and in general just make you feel super welcome, which makes a massive difference.

Lovely small local café. We were visiting Harrison Park and the Union Canal and stopped for coffee and some sweets. Everything was tasty, plus, our daughter was delighted to find out they offer free babyccino for the kiddos.

Nice staff, very welcoming. Rolls are a tad expensive but you get a lot of nice crispy bacon on them. Hot chocolate is small for a large size.

Absolutely lovely! Friendly staff, cute atmosphere, good portion sizes, and delicious food. And I love the cute teacups and teapot that the tea came in. :) I've walked past here many times and finally stopped in for brunch this weekend. Both the bagel with halloumi and chili jam and the avocado toast were delicious. I've since returned and gotten a takeaway bacon and egg roll too, which was also delicious! I also love all of the local art and cute items for sale. This will definitely become my new regular weekend brunch/lunch spot.

We got a fantastic bacon and egg roll and pot of tea here recently. Lovely roll, lots of bacon and brown or tomato sauce. A friend said best bacon roll he's had and I'm tending to agree. The sympathy in the name could be for the time we waited for this great roll to arrive, it is a small cafe, 4 or 5 inside tables and a couple outside. We waited well over half hour but worth the wait.
