Just love the food from man on fire! Great customer service! Great banter, and the dog doent have to wait outside and always receives a wee treat from the woman behind the counter. Partner gets always gets a carnage burger and I just love the macaroni �� with nachos broken over the top! 10/10 from the whole family including the dog
First time ordering from Man on Fire - will definitely not be the last. Burger was one of the best I've had; the chips were crunchy and golden; chicken wings were succulent and had a delicious, crispy coating. Oh and the brioche burger bun is inspired. Just yum.

Food: nice freshly cooked burgers! Nothing special, but still tasty. Fries were standard fair.
Price: very reasonably priced.
Other: decor was hilarious -- it was undergoing some renovations, but overall it has a homely feel. The claim of "Best burger in Edinburgh and Scotland" is a bit dubious, but it's worth a try.
Had takeaway burgers from here couple of days ago. Very impressed by the overall quality - the bun, patty and fillings were exactly what you would want from a good burger. Good chips too. Great that they cook the patty medium by default. Will be coming back.
The Big Dipper is by far the best burger I have even had, nothing from anywhere else I've been even comes close, a true 10/10 the size and taste and value are unbelievable. The cheese is made by some weird process but the taste and way it is applied to the burger is like no other, the meat is handmade while you wait and it is the most real and perfectly made burger in existence, the fact it comes with chips and good ones as well makes the value unreal. It is the same price as many chains will charge for just a burger and it blows them away. I sometimes drive the 60 mile round trip to get experience the food again. In addition to all this even the kids meal is about the same size and everywhere else's normal burger. Never disappoints.

We asked Martin to cater for my birthday party. We had a barbecue for 50 people. He brought everything - including side dishes, desserts, plates and cutlery. Nothing was too much bother. The food (including the burgers and relish) was all home made. He fed the vegetarians first, then did sausages and burgers. It went down extremely well. The price was good too. I had never eaten at the man on fire before. But I would definitely recommend it now.

One of the tastiest burgers I've ever eaten. The bun is average, but the patty is amazing. Also very cheap. It was mid rare as stated on the board. I think they can cook it further if you ask for it.
