Very pleasant. Comfortable seats. Allows my 15 yr. old nephew in.
Just drinks but a great bar to visit before or after rugby at Murrayfield.
Nice friendly atmosphere. Good range of beers.
Great pub, good prices, decent variety of food and beverages. The crowd and the service is great. 2 big screens to enjoy your sports. A great vibe all together on gorgie where there are considerable clubs. The owner is always on her toes. Definitely recommended. Do try out the salads and beer.
I’m a student nurse from Ireland and I’ve been coming to Jessie Mays for roughly the past year since moving to Gorgie. The staff from both the bar and restaurant (Altro Kitchen) have been nothing short of amazing and always go out of their way to make you feel at home. Every time I have family and f
Clean and friendly. Food smelled nice, though I didn't have any myself. Close to a football stadium and rugby, so sports on tv, can be a bonus. If matches are on, it will get busy, so get a seat before the match ends.
Very neat and well kept pub. Excellent food served out of the kitchen..can't beat quality or cost for their food. Certainly worth a visit...best in Gorgie for sure...
A great local bar! Excellent music, great food, a good range of beer and wine as well as all the usual spirits. Friendly and helpful staff who interact with their customers. Wheelchair accessible and dog friendly are added benefits. There are food offers on different days, a quiz and live music too.
Blue moon on draft brilliant beer 2 pints under a tenner superb.
Enjoyed the clientele. A good local pub but the music chased us away. Bartender played a couple good requests that were out of the pop rotation but otherwise only played club music to a a pub of older clientele who clearly enjoyed non-pop music. Would appreciate more consideration of clientele and w
Nice enough wee pub in a part of town which is short of them. Just went for drinks but plan to return sometime for food. For wheelchair users there is one small step at both the entrances and you will probably need someone to hold open doors for you. Accessible toilet also available.
A superb day to have the a few pints inside the pub with the windows opened... Great Chunky chips at the in house food restaurant service...
The meals are great hot and freshly cooked and very friendly staff will be back thank you.
Of all the bars in Gorgie, Jessie May's has to be at the top purely for customer service and choice of beer. They have guest ales on tap and a few nice bottles to chose from. Worth a visit if your in the area.
