Victor Hugo Deli - Edinburgh - Photo album

Victor Hugo Deli is a nice place to have some coffee and cake, brunch or just a quick sandwich on the go. There is a wide variety of sandwiches, cakes and pastries. They also offer cooked breakfast, soups and other dishes. The coffee is really good size and very tasty. The cinnamon rolls are absolut
Nice place with a beautiful view on Castle Street. Asked for 2 cakes, a latte and a flat white. The cakes were good but I didn't like the coffees that much, both had a too strong bitter taste.
Went here with a friend for lunch - what a find! The staff were SO friendly and provided great service, and the food was delicious with generous portions. A beautiful spot if you want castle views on a sunny day, but the inside was lovely as well with glass walls to take in the Edinburgh architectur
Very good presentation dishes, great tasty coffee, and stunning views from the terrace to the Edinburgh Castle.
We wanted to grab a bite for lunch. Loved the pastrami sandwich and the harissa chicken. One of the few places that actually gives you well filled sandwiches/baguettes with fair prices. Let them toast it for you, it makes it even better. We even stayed for some sweets (can really recommend the app
Very enjoyable lunch for 4 of us. Good sandwiches and coffee, with a pretty wide selection. I've seen reviews criticising the amount of time it took, but if a place is busy and serving fresh food it takes time. Staff were very friendly.
We visited this location for the 1st time this week. Gluten free options are very limited, but staff were friendly and helpfully made up a delicious bread free option for me and couldn’t have been more attentive, front of house and kitchen staff were lovely. Will visit again rather than the many Geo
It's always a pleasure visiting Victor Hugo's deli for their amazing tasty Pastrami sandwich and double expresso coffee. Our favourite place to eat in Edinburgh. I'd recommend visiting and eating here. Thank you
I have been there while the Fringe was going on in Edinburgh. I really loved the food there, i ve tried the Eggs Victor and it was amazing, with the Hollandaise sauce!! The staff was welcoming, professional and super friendly😊 Ow, and one of the best coffee in Edinburgh i think! Thanks guys!
Pastrami on rye (grilled) washed down with a bloody mary, delicious! Also ham coleslaw and mustard with a lovely glass of wine! Check out this place staff are so friendly and speedy service.
Nice deli chain. The pastrami sandwich was good. Fast friendly service.
The concept of having to secure a table first and then order at the counter is a bit odd, but it seems to be a recurring theme in Edinburgh. The sandwiches have long and difficult-to-remember names, especially for tourists. However, the food is actually really delicious and the prices are very reaso
Everything perfect, big portions, great location. Friendly and attentive staff, the coffee is also good and the food delicious. Perfect for brunch or breakfast on your own or with company, the place is cosy and only two steps away from Princess street. If you look at the display your mouth will be w
