Ordered food for 7:15pm for collection. Drove to the other place, which is no longer doing collections. That was my own fault, but they brought the food over anyway - very happy with the server. Food arrived at roughly 7:40, not quite on time (it is a 10 minute drive), but well within reason.
The food itself was a bit of a mixed bag. Had the veggie Momo, which was mostly ok, slight curry taste with carrot and kale filling. The dip provided was rather a letdown, tasted like tomato ketchup with a bit of chili.
Tandoori roti was good, whole wheat flour, well grilled, and a roti and not a naan (certain restaurants just seem to throw whatever's around into the bag).
"Spicy" Pappadoms were - well, pappadoms. I have yet to have bad ones.
The veggie North Indian Garlic Chili was quite pleasant at first, veggies nicely cooked but with a bit of bite left, more on the garlic side than the chili - or so I thought, until I hit the chili and it hit me back. Brought some tears to my eyes, and I consider myself rather well acquainted with spicy food.
Dear cook, if you happen to read this, I most certainly agree that the vegetables in a curry should not be pureed so that there is some variety to it, but please dice the chili up and mix it.
Fantastic friendly Indian takeaway and great value for money too. I have never had a bad meal from them and they constantly throw little extras in free of charge......Last night free poppadoms!. Far nicer food than the other Indian establishment up the road and a fraction of the price too!. The chilli garlic chicken is outstanding!....Wouldn’t go anywhere else!
Great food! All arrived very warm and was extreamely tasty! The staff are very friendly, even got given some homemade desert on the house, will 100% be back!
Last night we called from the car on way back from Fife. By the time we got to the Miraj, our order was ready to pick up. Just 20 minutes!
Lovely and fresh, large portions and so tasty as usual! We had Korma and Biryani with a paratha both delicious meals.
Food always ready on time and very tasty. Portions are generous with large cuts of meat and veg. Have used them enough to fill 1 and a half loyalty cards and never had a problem
Had my First meal from Miraj last night as it was recommended by a friend who works beside a member of staff there (at a different work place)and waw without any exaggeration it was the best Indian meal i have had, not only that the place is clean very hygienic which i look for in every place i eat .Wish the Nan was a little bigger but that's me just being greedy . This take away will be where i eat from now on when i want an Indian take away , even although i have to travel about 15 miles for it
Food is always hot, delicious and never had any problems. Delivery is quick and the drivers are friendly but efficient.
Food is always fresh and hot and onion bajis are to die for! My favourite is Chicken Chasni, highly recomend for Korma lovers!
Just had the most amazing food from Miraj, Well worth the drive from south Queensferry, Will certainly be back soon.
Excellent Indian, very good customer service, even gave me free Popadams, food is very tasty, has been hard to find a decent Indian in Edinburgh, this is the one.
Lovely food , good service so what else would you want ? Will go back...
